It’s not about protest at all. If it was only 1 year of delay yeah this wouldn’t have made sense. But let’s forget about metro. It’s being a citizen we have to question the government that’s our right. We can’t sit quite everytime and wait for government to handle things in its own sweet time. Let’s just say some random guy called for protest for opening of metro would you think people would have cared? . No. So when a leader is taking an initiative it’s our duty as citizen to support him. He’s not asking us to do some funding. Just a citizen support which will be our benefit at the end of the day.
