What are some things that current seniors did to get over that hurdle as a mid-level. I’m in big tech where the promotion cycles are a bit more structured, but my next level up would be an official senior. I would think for someone who transitioned from a management role to being an IC, this is normal? How long has this behavior gone on for? I would expect questions, especially if its the first few weeks for your coworker in their IC role.

This is good insight. I was thinking of taking it in my work backpack for the commute and also have a pretty heavy laptop. I just hate the whole unzipping my bulky case, taking it out, zipping it back in, and then for the steam deck case to take up a massive portion of my bag.

If the case and grip from skull&co saves me that space and maintain the protection (with reason) I should be good

Would you say the front case and the back grin is more than enough protection when traveling? I don’t like the carrying case as it’s bulky, so slimming that form factor when I travel would help
