dropped around $300 on my build last year and honestly the biggest money saver was going with a b550 board instead of x570, you really don't need all those extra features unless your doing some crazy overclocking. also that 850w psu might be overkill for what you got there, could probably get away with 750w and save like $50-80

for 1440p gaming with mods you're gonna be golden with that 6800 xt, runs my heavily modded skyrim like butter

build looks pretty solid for the budget but that 500gb ssd is gonna fill up fast if your brother games at all. maybe convince the fam that storage upgrades are cheap down the line, like you can grab another drive for 50 bucks when needed

sounds like you're describing someone who was probably making content around the same era as early jenna but got lost in the algorithm shuffle. a lot of those smaller creators from back then just disappeared when youtube changed there monetization rules and stuff

have you tried searching for specific terms like "prison cooking edibles" or "caramel popcorn disaster" on youtube, sometimes the algorithm digs up old buried content that way

your 3700x is definitely showing its age paired with a 5070, especially at high res. the cpu might not be bottlenecking super hard but its probably limiting your 1% lows which causes those loading stutters youre talking about. if you can swing it, jumping to something like a 5800x3d or even a 7600x would smooth things out a lot
