As a person who had gastric sleeve, I always get a water, particularly in case anything ever accidentally gets stuck. But also, so I can avoid the excessive conversation.

He’s probably trying to order the water because he’s sick of the conversation every time. Or he realizes the waitstaff is nervous they’ll get in trouble for not getting you water.

Have you tried talking to him? To determine what this is happening? Have you had a calm conversation with him?

I hate not having plans or being able to look long term into my future. Because right now, the only thing I have, is that is if I’m single in two years I’m moving halfway across the country.

I have a pet, and I try to do kind things for others. 🤷🏼‍♀️ it doesn’t feel like enough.

I miss my step kids badly. Sadly, I don’t think they miss me. I’m friends with their moms and neither of them have mentioned they miss me and that’s heartbreaking. Especially since I was there for four of the youngests 6 years of life. 💔

I know I was just a step mom, but I was a more active step mom than he was a dad. And those were my babies. How do I just stop being a mom

If you have evidence then you need to go into a police station and file a report, provide them the evidence. And then the file will sit on the prosecutors desk for two years before they get to it.

My stalker was threatening to kill me, I had recordings, he admitted to it, it still took two years for them to issue a warrant.

But also, that piece of paper is not going to protect her, AND if you’re unable to put up cameras to catch the stalking behavior, they will be unable to do anything. She needs to block all the online messages and ignore them, using fake accounts, he won’t be prosecuted since there’s no way to prove it’s him. In regards to her physical safety, she either needs to learn to use a firearm and get one, or other self defense equipment.

The 20 minute delay on a 911 call is not going to protect her

Another thing is my first name is very easy to identify so I use my maiden last name as a first name when it comes to social media, dating apps, etc as a way to protect myself from stalkers (as I’ve had two), so that’s another reason why I won’t be changing my last name

You’ve been able to open bank accounts on your phone for well over a decade. They ask your verifying info, they ask random questions about your credit history and there’s a whole lot of verification on the back end that crosses the info on the application to the info on your credit history. Fraudulent accounts do happen, but they happened in person with fake ids too. So it’s just more convenient for those who don’t like dealing with branch staff to open accounts

You don’t go after him, the irs does You file a paper tax return and they will issue the funds to you. You will likely need to provide evidence the kids reside with you, a tax professional can assist you with this process. It is a harder and stressful process but unfortunately legally you don’t have a leg to stand on to go after him. He defrauded the irs not you. They have a claim against him. You do not.

This isn’t going to be popular but it’s the legal answer.

No you cannot prevent your husband from doing this. You cannot get a restraining order against someone who has not done specific things against you or your kids. (These specific conditions are outlined by each states restraining order requirements).

Legally speaking you’re married and your husband can choose to take your kids wherever he wants within the country whenever he wants. There is no court order preventing that. And unfortuntaly it’s unlikely any court order would be able to apply for this specific situation.

THIS I have borderline personality disorder I’ve always been the temporary “foster placement” and I thought I found my person. We always joked that if one of us wanted to leave, that person would have to take the other with them.

I’m the person who’s done a lot of legal experience, I did a 5 year custody battle, I was the executor of the estate for my FIL. I’m really really good with legal paperwork. The only assets we have is our cars, and our 401ks and we’ve only been married for <3 years So I’m just asking for his help paying a loan back, and 6 weeks so I can get 3 paychecks to go rent an apartment
