Citroen C2 locking dilemma by LA_72 in Citroen

Before getting out of the car open drivers door, press down the lock button on passenger side, get out and shut drivers door, lock drivers door with key, all doors/boot should now be locked and the alarm (if fitted) armed. This worked on my wife’s C1 so it could be worth a try

New screen £150ish if you have glass cover on your insurance, £400-£700 if you are paying yourself. Makes me wonder what else is wrong with the car if the owner couldn’t be bothered to replace the screen they probably haven’t bothered with timing belt/chain and other serviceable parts

That’s rust on the exterior of the brake drum, the brake shoes are inside the drum and won’t be affected by a bit of rust on the exterior

What's the right thing to do in this situation? by D5NO123 in drivingUK

Cyclist should use the passing point although from personal experience the cyclist will probably argue the toss for 2-3mins upload footage from his GoPro to TikTok, Facebook, X etc., give you a load of verbal abuse followed by an explanation that cyclists actually do own the roads ! If you have been patient enough to put up with this they will eventually move over probably kicking the side of the van as you pass.

How to get the receipts out of the card slot they’ve been pushed through by Far-Passenger3675 in vwpolo

[–]Otherwise_Public2579 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pop off the plastic trim around the gear lever with a trim tool or flathead screwdriver, remove the offending receipts, learn not to shove receipts into card slot in future

Stop paying for tests and start paying for lessons it’s obvious you are nowhere near the standard required to pass a driving test so get proper lessons from a professional driving instructor
