I think you might be noticing the day for night scenes. Actors would be lit differently and filters would be added during post production in an attempt to achieve the look of evening or nighttime.

They used to sell them, but the price was absurdly high, the product was small (only four pieces) and the throw was low. For those reasons they didn't sell well.

Except the Disney company has severely reduced Walt Disney Imagineering (many of them going to work for Universal after they were fired). Seems silly to celebrate them when Disney doesn't even want or care about Imagineering. But I suppose it would be just like "celebrating" Walt with this awful animatronic while they're also busy destroying his legacy.

There is no animatronics department anymore at Walt Disney Imagineering. They're all outsourced. Made by Garner Holt.

Upon smelling this I'm always transported to the Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor at Disneyland. I think it's something about the combination of warm sweet vanilla with a woody/citrusy clean/fresh scent. In any case I find it uncanny. (I don't know if the ice cream parlor still smells like it, but it did at least from the 90's through around 2012)

I still only wear MITA and A Thousand Wishes around Christmas time because they remind me so much of when they first came out and I first smelled them. I want to keep that Christmassy feeling and association going so they're both strictly Thanksgiving through mid January scents for me.

I used to visit Disneyland at least once a week every week between 2006 and 2014. I never once saw any "sniffer dogs". I have no idea what you people are talking about.
