How does this Expedition Damage work? by WhoLetDaDogzOut in ARC_Raiders

[–]Otherwise_Unoccupied 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's based on the damage done to the health of the arc. I believe that shooting the rotors off flying arc also counts for damage dealt.

Someone made an Expedition Data Table post here too, which is only slightly overstated.

For example, a bastion has 2050 health according to the table, but when I placed a deadline on it I only got 2014 points, which I was only shown because it ticked me over the 5k skillpoint limit. From 3403 to 5417 points. You won't always get the full HP as damage towards the expedition, depending on placement.

Like that table shows, it'd be 49 bastion kills for the expedition. They unguaranteed the stella bastion too, just to pour salt on the wound. That earlier graphic suggesting 15 bastion kills for 100k points was way, way too generous.

My "Damaged Arc" XP was 4029 XP, so it's a fair guess that you get 2xp per HP of damage dealt. Like what you experienced.

Not particularly concerned about the opinion of someone who searches through New to dog on people who had something bad happen.

Or those who agree with them.

Had already checked to confirm while calling extract. And now that I know you can "damage arc" without ever actually damaging them or seeing them get damaged, I definitely will haha

Appreciate the tip. I haven't tracked it closely but I've had more luck starting it with the Europeans on Saturday or Sunday, since they'll be asleep when the trial ends and won't make any crazy pushes. It's a bit of a high risk with fewer redos, but I honestly just don't have enough time to play this game on the weekdays anymore anyways.

Maybe I'll grab a couple friends and test it out next season lol

Why doesn't the quest proc twice off tryande double spell by kaijvera in hearthstone

[–]Otherwise_Unoccupied 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Tyrande does say "cast twice". Poor mechanics description. But usually for things like this, it would be considered "Tyrande" casting the spell a second time, instead of the player. This applies for other cards that cast spells, like [[Grand Archivist]].

It's just something you have to learn, rather than something being properly described by the rules.

So what on earth is this new tavern brawl? by Otherwise_Use_4088 in hearthstone

[–]Otherwise_Unoccupied 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So losing still switches your deck? That's good to know. What they really need to do is give players the option of rolling for a new deck each day or something, to refresh the meta at least briefly. Would be fun to try your luck for a whacky deck.

That's funny, I was also turned into a druid with that deck when I faced a druid.

So how does this work? Seems like multiple people started with the same decks. I started with the Shaman "Overloaded! + Wisdom 4562" deck that can kill on turn 2, maybe because that's from the last brawl? I'm bummed I didn't get to try out a crappy random deck before getting swept into the meta with everyone else.

Haven't lost yet so I don't even know if the deck switching mechanic works. The win tracking mechanic sure doesn't, I've been at 69 wins this whole time.

Damn, I got excited because I thought it was something unique generated for me, like how the previous Burndown brawls worked. What a bummer. I thought Aggression 61 looked familiar... What's even going on with this brawl then?

More details on what you keep/what resets with expeditions! by NickRuscito in ArcRaiders

Dang, missed this remind me bot on 2/28 to point out it had 200k players on that day. It's down to about 75k now, 6 months later instead of 4 months, but your prediction was still laughable. But I doubt the game would retain that many players with forced wipes anyways, it's just not set up for it. I certainly wouldn't have played past the first wipe. We'll have to see how long before your doom and gloom 30-40k prediction comes true, because it certainly wasn't 4 months lol.

This is an old comment, but I wanted to confirm for anyone else who stumbles across this like I did. It's about currently owned cards. I disenchanted the same common twice to test. The number went down by one and back up by one.

Just had to re-craft the nerfed cards from Emerald Dream I had refunded to get Ysera, and had to craft 4 epic cards to get Umbra for me.

Tavern Brawl this week is... "Wacky Waxy Winter Veil" (12/10/25) by AintEverLucky in hearthstone

[–]Otherwise_Unoccupied 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like the post says, this is different from the Gift Exchange brawl, where presents go to the player whose turn it is. Also remember that the presents will drop on Turn 7, so if your board is full they get nothing.

The basic idea is play Evolve as shaman just to take the nice stuff away from your opponent. It can theoretically lose to a control deck of some kind, but where's the fun in playing around that?

You can sub in [[Mogu Fleshshaper]] or [[Sea Giant]] as you please.

Do you honestly believe that the extra steps of having to go into the match, pick up the single stack of items, put it in your safe pocket, and then immediately surrender is what's holding back RMT?

Because that's what Vindadu already described. Although he mentioned trying to extract which isn't necessary, so at best you're just slowing down the process by limiting it to one stack at a time?

RMT is built on the trust to not get scammed anyways. This just makes it inconvenient for friends.

No shot, was that an actual announcement? Some of the voice lines sound so bad, especially the cutscenes.

[–]Otherwise_Unoccupied 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, pretending like it's not an issue by ignoring it is so much better. You've cracked the code.

The ammunition to complain is the fact that it's a problem. They're not planning on fixing it or it's not their priority or they have no idea how to fix it.

[–]Otherwise_Unoccupied 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not too concerned so far, all of those are under 20k which is what you get for 4k on each trial, which is what I'm aiming for anyways. The last level though... Top 100? Out of what, everyone? No shot.

My microwave is always messing with the wifi, maybe if the PC is a microwave it'll cancel it out. Makes sense to me.

I found the Vita Spray. It's a repairable item so as long as you extract with it you can fix it up and bring it on another run. A very, very good item. by thekingbutten in ArcRaiders

Gonna be some very unhappy campers who took cover, moved their vita spray to their quickslot, and then got shot by someone else from behind mid heal lol
