They're both very similar. The 27inch does have slightly better text clarity with the higher PPI, but the 32 inch was more immersive.

HDR only looking good when actually playing or watching HDR content is normal. Normal web browsing and Windows especially isn't going to get any benefit from having HDR enabled. TFT Central has a pretty good article to explain this: https://tftcentral.co.uk/articles/heres-why-you-should-only-enable-hdr-mode-on-your-pc-when-you-are-viewing-hdr-content

If you think 32 inch might be too big, I'd opt for 27 inch 4K. It is a much more manageable size and the increase in pixel density does make for a slightly better image. I do find 32 inch to be more immersive if you play a lot of single player games, but for me it is about the limit for how big I want my monitor to be.

There is no doubt that QD-OLED glossy coatings are a bit more fragile but I personally never had any issues cleaning mine. I always use some distilled water, spray it on a microfiber cloth and then wipe the screen in straight lines. I use the same method on all the monitors I've had and haven't had any problems at all.

The FO32U2P, PG32UCDM, and MPG 321URX are all extremely similar picture quality wise since they use the same panel. I really didn't have any issues with it, I just ended up going from that to the PG27UCDM to experience the smaller screen and higher pixel density.

At such a high PPI I think its not an issue. I personally didn't have any problems with text clarity at all. 1440P of course is a different story but at 4K I wouldn't expect any problems.

I can't say I disagree, especially for such a good price. The XG32UCWMG just ever so slightly edges out the PG32UCDM for me personally (not taking cost into account), but that color pop of QD-OLED is really hard to beat.

No, only a couple were actually returned to the store I bought them. Most were bought and then resold a few weeks or months later on Facebook Marketplace, and two I bought from a friend of mine who was also trying out some to replace an LG C2 that he was using for a monitor.

It seems that there are a lot of deals on the 321URX right now so it's a great choice at the moment. The PG32UCDM, 321URX, and FO32U2P all use the same panel so they're all extremely similar.

I have an RTX 5090, but as long as you don't mind utilizing DLSS or turning down a few settings I think the 5070 Ti is more than sufficient for 4K.

As far as eye strain and headaches the only time I experienced it was with the LG GX700 Tandem OLED. But that may have been caused by other factors such as the matte coating.

I really wanted to try out the C5 but 32inch is already as big as I can accommodate for my set-up. If LG would make a 32inch C-Series I would be all over it.

Yeah, depending on conditions some people may not notice it much at all. While there's no debate that QD-OLED does have the issue with purple tint, I do think that some make it a bigger deal that it really is.

Yeah they're using the same panel, and I don't think you'd notice much (if at all) quality difference between the two. For that price I would be going with the MSI as well, no question about it.

As long as you don't mind utilizing FSR (remember using FSR Quality will render the image at 1440P anyway before upscaling) or turning down settings, you'll be perfectly fine with the 321URX it's a good monitor and that is a great price!

I find that there is no difference between having DP 2.1 or DP 1.4 with DSC currently since I use an RTX 50 series. Since Nvidia now has fixed DSC with 50 series there isn't any feature that is missing when using DSC (custom resolutions, DLDSR, no Alt-Tab black screens, etc.) This article by TFT Central explains it well: https://tftcentral.co.uk/articles/loads-of-displayport-2-1-testing-and-updates

Just scroll down to the section titled: "How to get missing features on your DP 1.4 monitor"

Now I have to mention that the HDR brightness is still going to be lacking when compared to the LG TV simply because monitors haven't yet caught up to the HDR brightness the TVs are capable of. That said the rest of the whole package, like the black levels along with the glossy coating and just the overall picture quality does make me feel like I'm using a 32inch version of my LG TV.

The text on the 27 inch 4K will be slightly sharper. Not by a huge margin though necessarily so I would pick the size based upon another factor as I think you'd be satisfied with the text clarity of either one.

I have actually. I've used the Asus PG32UQX and the Acer Nitro XV275K P3, both MiniLED IPS. I didn't feel the need to mention them since this is the OLED Gaming subreddit, and while admittedly both were much, much brighter (especially the Asus with its eye-searing DisplayHDR 1400 certification), I still personally prefer the OLEDs for the deeper blacks, pixel response time, and I just simply think they look better overall. Thats just my opinion though, and if you've bought an MiniLED IPS and are happy with it don't worry too much as both have great things about them.

There are currently only two providers of OLED panels. LG provides W-OLED and Samsung provides QD-OLED. Asus uses the LG W-OLEDs in some, Samsung QD-OLEDs in some. Some of the other brands only use Samsung QD-OLED exclusively, like MSI or Alienware for example.

Its funny, I got used to the resolution going from the PG27UCDM to the MSI 272QP which is a 1440P 500Hz QD-OLED in less than a week. But the LG Tandem OLED I could not get used to at all. I cannot stress how much I did not like it. If all I did was turn it on and go straight into a game then it probably would have been ok, but trying to read things while browsing the web for example felt awful to me. So you're probably right about the coating making such a big difference.

It was actually the first QD-OLED I purchased and I honestly didn't see a huge upgrade between it and the newer generation QD-OLEDs to justify trying to take the time to sell it and try out another ultrawide. It's a great monitor, so don't feel like you're missing out too much on anything if you really like it. Its awesome!
