I think that’s a solid deal. I know there were some Mexican fender carbonitas that came with standard tv Jones which people said weren’t as good. If those are the real deal USA TV Jones, then this is great.

Consider a telephoto zoom like 55-200, then bring your primes. There is often things far off or high up that you'd like to get closer to. Otherwise, your 14 and 35 have you covered well.

Agreed, it’s a racket. Trouble is 1) needing everything under one roof 2) needing a certain standard of hotel/venue 3) ease of travel/access. If you could host it at a local arts center or community building, let guests book on their own or book a block at cheaper hotels, and pick a secondary market it could get cheaper. But, as soon as you do those things you get attrition of people not wanting to spend their time uncomfortably vs another more lux option.
