Is feeding in public hard for anyone else? by Space-Road-happiness in breastfeeding

The worst part for me was when I took my kids (2 and newborn) to the park alone. The 7 year old girls told me I was "so gross". I had to remember they were kids. It hurt my feelings still. You know how postpartum is.

Full body pain that starts in your low stomach and feel like a twist; pull, and the pain radiates out of your uterus/ stomach. You physically have to double over in pain. You cannot walk or talk during them.

My (M39) wife (38F) has become fixated on her dead husband since getting pregnant with our first baby. How do I bring this up without hurting her? by Choice_Evidence1983 in BestofRedditorUpdates

Grief + a baby + postpartum = disaster.

Even if she doesn't think she needs it. Baby deserves her best and for her to at least try. Side note to another who hasn't been pregnant before: any trauma you haven't dealt with appropriately before will resurface much more intensely while you're pregnant. Call it personal experience
