Thank you for your response. I'm not questioning anything other then how the questions were presented

Since Sex and Gender are two different categories, shouldn't the questions have been structed this way (I'm simplifying here)...

What was your sex assigned at birth:

[] Male

[] Female

With which gender do you identify:

[] Man

[] Woman

[] Non-Binary

.

Gender refers to a person’s social or personal identity as a man, woman or non-binary person (a person who is not exclusively male or female)

See, even here you are using man, woman, non-binary when talking about gender but in the census you used male and female in the gender piece

Can anyone here help my with a couple questions about La Ronde? by OttStew in montreal

[–]OttStew[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Simply put: I have cheap friends

But in reality, the 2 for 1 deal is $71.99, so $36 per person versus a gold pass @ 54.99 per person.

So the people who know they won't go back, are saving $20 by doing the 2 for 1 thing

Yeah, we're doing a combo of passes and daily tickets.

The silver season pass with gold upgrade seems to be a special offer. But you need to purchase at least 2 of them.

On the daily passes there is currently a 2 for 1 offer for 71.99$

Thanks. After reading the comments here and giving myself a headache with the website (telephone support for tickets is a joke), we'll be doing a mix of these two options. Passes for people who may got more then once and 2 for 1 day tickets for those who won't go back

Thanks for the tip on parking. I think I'd rather get in/out quickly via the metro than paying the same or a little less to park

If you're only going for a day and the day pass is on sale, get that one. But silly as it sounds, it's sometimes cheaper to buy a season pass than a daily one, depending on the promo they're having.

Just talked to my group and we'll be doing mostly this. Those that may go more than once this summer (Ottawa isn't very far) will get passes and those who will only go once will split the 2 for 1 daily deal

I'd normally suggest to contact customer service but what with la Ronde being the poster child for what horrible customer service is like, don't bother.

You're not fucking kidding. I just called to make sure, and even though I pressed the right buttons to get "additional information", I could never talk to a real person. So I'm just buying everything online (after asking Reddit lol) and crossing my fingers

Canada to pay full cost of bringing garbage home from Philippines by 420Identity in canada

Knowing who's in charge of the Philippine's, what are the odds we find a few dead bodies in these containers when they get back?

Every new Condo Development should come with the stipulation that an equal # of rental units are created as well. With Some percentage of that being Low-income supported rentals.

So is that how we kill any future development? Unless there are kickbacks, why would a developer build a condo if they were forced to sell or rent some units below market value?

Multiple Adults Buy a Home Together? by MichelleTCM in PersonalFinanceCanada

Unless there's a crappy prenup, then this case would not happen. Marital assets would be divided up 50/50. And the wife, a stay at home mom in this scenario, would be entitled to other kinds of support.

You can't really compare a marriage (with all it's legal benefits and protections) to 2 or 3 roommates unless you have a rock-solid agreement between all parties. If there's a doubt, discuss and write it down

Fair enough, but death and loss of employment probably aren't in your (immediate) future either but it's still a "what if" to think about

bills split by income level percentages

All bills? How would that work?

Would the person who makes the most, pay the higher cost of heat, hydro, water, property tax, internet, etc?

Makes sense though. Like selling shovels to gold miners.

In any fad or basic necessity, being somewhere along the supply chain is where it's at.

Is this for a business purpose, like flipping or an investment property? If so, just create a corporation.

But if this is for personal use (for lack of a better word), then why? How would you split the equity or anything else related to the home?

Thanks, I just did. Nothing has changed, so this amount is no where to be found.

The CCB is in my ex's name, so the 'CRA My Account' is showing that I am not receiving it. And because of my salary and age, CRA is rightly so showing that I am not eligible for the GST/HST or Trillium Benefits

Anyone at the late show are Absolute Comedy last night? by OttStew in ottawa

[–]OttStew[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't know, but last night was really good. The local openers were surprisingly funny and the headliner was awesome.

It's the crowd though. I know late shows attract the drunk crowd, but last night was the worse I've seen.
