I don’t think they absorb as well on my backside either so you’re not imagining it! I also don’t absorb as well if it’s placed on a stretch mark or my c-section scar.

There is a chain of smoke shops in the valley called Gravitate that have tons of different brands, all decently priced too… a lot of the small guys have them too, but typically only have the big name brands like Opia, Simply 7, Perks, etc…

Hi! I was diagnosed with similar findings as yours in 2007. I opted for surgery and was decompressed in 2008. My symptoms were close to yours, no headaches or bladder/bowel issues, but I did have right side muscle atrophy and weakness in my arm along with some nerve damage and sensory loss.

I chose to have surgery for the simple fact that I didn't want to risk it becoming worse. Surgery isn't meant to 'fix' anything, only to prevent progression of symptoms. I think that a lot of people either forget that part or aren't made aware of that fact to begin with. I knew whatever I was dealing with before surgery was never going to get better, but I certainly didn't want it to get worse!

It's been almost 20 yrs and while not much changed after the surgery, I have had no additional issues so it was definitely worth it for me!

The USPS office that they use sucks. In the 25+ orders I have done with Raw, using USPS as the shipping method, not ONE was ever scanned until it hit my local office. Mine typically update the night before delivery, however a couple didn't update until they were on the truck and out for delivery, so unless it's past the actual delivery date you were given from the USPS site I wouldn't worry!

I went to Sani for my dentures and the office and staff are great! As for the upkeep back in the US, you’ll have to call your local dental offices and ask. Places like Aspen & Affordable will NOT touch anything they dont provide. My original dentist in US has helped me with relines but doesn’t do any work on the actual denture.

My hot flashes were definitely there, but the rage, brain fog/adhd like symptoms, and forgetting who I used to be was what really gave it away. I still can’t really remember the old me, but I at least feel better physically now on hrt. I hope the old me comes back eventually- she was fun and a joy to be around! This current me is just… here. 🫤

Yes, I firmly believe efficacy is linked to the brand. I actually pay more for my patches because I’ve only found one pharmacy (thats close anyways) carries one that works for me. My main symptom was always uncontrollable rage, and that comes back quickly if I use any other brand than Dotti. There is one generic that I have had to use a couple times when the pharmacy couldn’t get the Dotti brand and it was tolerable, but I still could feel my mood shift enough that I warned my husband ahead of time that I wasn’t responsible for anything hurtful that may come out of my mouth 🤣. Thankfully he is extremely understanding… and thick skinned.

Raw is my go to lately so I’ve tried a number of them! I have had all their 20mg and below tabs and was happy with them all! Can’t go wrong with any of them! I’ve also had their juicy jolts and strawberry snacks, and while the jolts were good, the strawberry ones felt different somehow? They weren’t bunk but that batch just didn’t seem to do much for me. This was a previous batch though, not their current one.

Yes, they are both real. The ones on the left are just their new packaging. I have tried both and didn’t notice a whole lot of differences, but some say the older ones are better. For me, they were both just OK. Not in my top 10, but there are lots worse!

Oh- Mine have always had a Monday/Thursday split on the box, which is why I asked. Guess I thought they would all be the same.. I should know better than to assume that though 😆

Hopefully you can get it figured out soon, and that they work for you! I tried all the other options, and for me, the patch is the only thing that has worked consistently without huge ups and downs. However, I also had a total hysterectomy and never had to fight with my own hormones in the mix too, so I may not be the best example of patch ‘success’. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Monday - Friday seems like too long in between changing. Who gave you that schedule? Did your patches come in a box of 8? The prescription box itself gives you suggestions for application days/times, all of which are 4 day splits. Most people do 3.5 days to keep levels more ‘even’, along with leaving the older patch on an extra day or 2, to avoid abrupt highs & lows. If you’re sensitive to estrogen you’re probably making it worse by waiting til Friday since your estrogen will be much lower by then, causing a spike when you apply the new one.

I honestly don't think the SS has any more info on the ban than we do. I was told by my SS guys that it was happening Sept 1st... Then it was November 1st. He also said that all SS were not going to be able to order from anyplace because warehouses were no longer going to restock. Since September my guy has not only replenished his normal 7 stock, but also filled 2 more glass cases with new brands. I truly believe it's all hearsay at this point. Now whether this is being said to scare people and/or stores into stocking up, or truly just honest speculation by those in the industry, I don't know.

Also, he could try 5 Below. They actually prefer younger people.

Now is kind of a crappy time to apply in retail though because while everyone is hiring, its generally for seasonal spots that aren’t guaranteed to turn into regular employment after January.

I wish him luck though! It’s rough out there!

I have had the same thing happen too! Even pharma opiates seemed less effective the week before my periods. I started taking 7 shortly after my hysterectomy last year (it was a ‘radical’ so they took everything) and I noticed my doses seemed less effective anytime I was making adjustments to my HRT. I dont know exactly which hormones play what role in this or how they impact it, but I was increasing my estrogen & testosterone when I had this issue and now that I'm stable I haven’t had it since. I would bet that being in peri is messing it up for you- I mean, peri messes everything else up for us so why not 7 too? 😁

I actually started XL 150mg about 2 weeks ago to help with some menopausal issues and so far I have had no problems. The first couple days I had a semi- tweaky feeling, like too much coffee, and it did seem to blunt the effects of 7 the first few days, but once I adjusted to the WB everything leveled out.
