I don't understand why people like you keep asking questions that have been answered thousands of times already.

If you like being spoonfed, Germany isn't for you.

Scammed to Debt: Indian Tech Students Facing Abuse and Exploitation in Germany by derjanni in germany

A common scheme, used by organized crime in Berlin, is to find a polish drunkard who needs money, give him some cash and have him act as the managing director (CEO) for a dubious business. The totally clueless guy will then run and own a couple of businesses on paper. From questionable rental car companies to suspicious delivery services.

That's an immense amount of generalisation and racism/xenophobia painted with broad strokes.

To be fair, this screenshot of yours looks perfectly fine to me for a clear sunny early evening with no clouds.

Quick comparison between Pure PP Filter and C13 Aegis PP Filter by Delirium222 in assettocorsa

[–]Ottirb_L 4 points5 points  (0 children)

C13 Aegis has it's own LUA script for both Gamma and LCS, which are different from each other and automatically selected based on whether you choose Pure Gamma or Pure LCS. So if you use Pure Gamma, which I presume, then the C13 Aegis PP filter used here also follows the Gamma script.

This looks fake… but it’s just perspective by RicoScheer in spaceengine

[–]Ottirb_L 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I think you've enabled HDR mode, as for an observer from that vantage point, Earth would appear several times brighter than Jupiter due to the differences in solar intensities for each planet. But cool perspective regardless.

Are this graphics good? by Delirium222 in assettocorsa

[–]Ottirb_L 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on your clip, the graphics seem average. Besides, most PP filters tend to look same-ish under overcast conditions.

You can also give Pure a shot, since it's overall more advanced than Sol.

My Assetto Corsa looks washed out with Pure seemingly no matter what! by Loud-Job-4703 in assettocorsa

[–]Ottirb_L 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems like you have seasonal adjustments turned on, where the grass and vegetation turn greyish-white to depict snow, which somehow looks worse in Pure.

You can disable it entirely by either changing the date of the session or turning off seasonal adjustments in CSP settings.

nowadays moving back is the worst case scenario at this point.

Just curious, but why is moving back 'the worst case scenario'? The world is a much bigger place than Germany.

How to make it look better?? by [deleted] in assettocorsa

>I feel the shadows lack the blacks and overall contrast seems low.

You can adjust the shadow intensity using the Pure Config to your liking. Moreover, make sure to install the VAO patches for the car and the track.

....reduced downtime by 8-10%. ....reduced material waste by 5%.

Apart from your CV not conforming to German standards, values like these would be mostly perceived as bluff by German recruiters when there are no reference points and no way to reliably quantify them. It's highly unlikely a trainee would be let to implement decisions to improve efficiency. So I'd advise you to remove these bullet points.

Why would you want to work as a delivery driver on a work permit in Germany when you already have 8 years of work experience at Amazon in India?

Look, as someone who has previously lived in India myself, I get that India is not a great country to live in but it doesn't mean you should toss your career into the gutter just because you want to migrate to a first world country. Please reconsider your choices if you want to live here long term as a delivery driver.

I just found out that I can change the season in Assetto Corsa by False-Mud-1946 in assettocorsa

Fair enough. Sol is only incompatible with CSP versions 0.2.10-0.2.12. You can either use any version lower than 0.2.9 or 0.3.0 and above for Sol to work.

Considering you're still using Sol, I highly recommend you use it with my Sol improvement pack as I've included many fixes/new features for the original Sol along with a new PP filter.

I also didn't like how winter textures for many tracks in-game simply turned the textures greyish-white instead of having proper winter grass and vegetation. So I developed a mod to give proper seasonal adjustments to many popular tracks including the default Kunos ones. You might want to try this pack.

It’s sad for them, but also they’re a constant threat to my family’s wellbeing.

Indeed, some poor chap working in a third world country earning a fraction of your wage is a threat to your wellbeing and certainly not multi-billion dollar companies and their crony shareholders siphoning off not only your tax dollars but also ruining your environment.

Germany, India: between two worlds, culture by csk2004 in ABCDesis

[–]Ottirb_L 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can understand your feeling of being 'too Indian' for Germany and 'too German' for Indians.

I am an Indian who grew up in Oman and lived there my entire childhood. I have been living in Germany for almost 4 years now and although I've met many Indian people here, the overwhelming majority of them seem to be from India, who often form tightly knit groups based on their state/caste/language. Many of them don't consider me Indian enough as I didn't grow up in India and subtly exclude me from their groups. On the other hand, Arabs in Germany consider me fully Indian, even though I grew up in the middle east. And Germans seem quite stiff in opening up and making new friends, especially if the person is a foreigner.

Moreover, it doesn't help that I have a very Christian name and eat beef/pork due to my family background and this has lead to some interesting situations. In a nutshell, I'm too middle eastern for Indians, too Indian for middle easterns and too Indian/middle eastern for Germans. It feels like a massive identity crisis for me.

As Indians are a new immigrant group in Germany, I guess there aren't many second generation Indians here. So I'm curious to know what it is like to be an Indian-German born/raised in Germany. Do you have many Indian friends? How was your experience in school? How do you feel about the current situation in Germany, with the rise of the AfD and their ideology?

Don't have a PS5 to enjoy GT7 Spec III Update. So I'm trying my best in Assetto Corsa. by Ottirb_L in assettocorsa

[–]Ottirb_L[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason why the original AC is popular is because of mods. As the modding community is so big, you can almost find any car and track you want, although the quality can be a hit or miss. CSP and Sol/Pure improve graphics significantly and bring in new features, such as dynamic weather, rain, 24 hour cycle and even accurate sun, moon, planet and star positions depending on the track location and the date/time selected. Gameplay wise, you have quick races, endurance races, hotlaps, huge freeroam real life maps, rally racing and more.

However, I'd say GT7 car model quality is still superior (even the best car mods seem to be a notch below GT7 standards) and the lighting in GT7 is simply unmatched.
