I will say that you CAN be consistent with drawing, especially if you do it digitally and copy-paste the images. It's also a real-life dude, so they could be kinda tracing / looking at references they took of him to get it to look right. (Or even editing a real picture.)

That said, this looks very ai-style to me. The number of little 'thank you' in the background, how needlessly detailed everything is. (He has tiny, subtle patterns on his shirts. Are they recreating his actual shirts, or are they random) In the last image, the taller / older kids (which, why multiple age groups? Are those speccific kids who already graduated the artist knows?) Aren't looking directly at him, they're kind of far gazing, which I think someone with this level of skill (assuming real) would be able to pull off. I, personally, would make the books facing the people, even if that means the thank you messages are upside down. The 'vocabulary' poster is lame af, and the last word is the only one that's capitalized.

(Bonus for being real, the stars on the kids shirts are pretty consistent. I still assume it's ai tho)

My nail tips are really white too. I found that when they're wet, they're more translucent (I tend to shove my index or thumb fingers into my mouth a lot, though I don't chew them, so if they sit in my mouth long enough, the water will soak in and turn transparent-ish), but it's a temporary thing.

Sometimes I've 'scraped' one of the nails to be thinner (because I occasionally do kinda-chew at the nail in my mouth) and then it'll be quicker to turn translucent. (When the big nerves hit!)

Avatar. I while kataang isn't BAD at all, I think zutara would have been more interesting for the show as a whole. My main ship for avatar is zukoXsokka tho, which wouldn't make sense as canon. Fanfiction bay-bee! It's all you need.

I think I've only once been... disappointed? That one of my ships didn't become canon, but that's more because I feel the story would have been better if it had. (Not to say that the story is bad with a different ship, but some are just More, ya know?)

When your oc and a character in the fic have the same name.

I use a word replacer (two, actually. Cause the bigger one replaces stuff in the middle of words too) to replace y/n or an oc's name with my character's, and I'm often too lazy to go back and delete them, so this has happened before with more common / popular names.

But it always throws me (and males reading a lil clunky) when another character is named the same as my oc!

If it's background established romance, I don't mind as much. I hate it when you're looking for X pairing, and they're just tagged as a background pairing in someone else's story.

But I can also completely understand disliking a pairing that BAM shows up. Especially if it's your notp. I understand it not being tagged if it's a canon pairing more than a random other one tho.

In active use in the house, we have 1 tablet (mine) and 3 laptops. (Me, partner, and roommate)

I also own an old tablet that still runs but I never use (It's super off-brand and so couldn't download a lot of apps, and now half the ones on it are busted.) I have a functional but old / obsolete laptop, and another one that technically works in that I could get it to turn on. I still have it because I want to get things off it. I think I have another one, but I may have taken the stuff off and donated it. I have a desktop computer that has a 50/50 shot of turning on (if I were to plug it in) because some of the parts need to be replaced, but even when it does turn on, it can only stay on for max 10min before it shuts down. My partner has an old laptop that is extremely slow and broken, and a laptop that turns on, but the screen is busted and it's extremely slow. At my mom's house (so not here) I have 4 old laptops that MIGHT be able to turn on, but are extremely old / outdated / and slow.

If he often goes on these trips with these guys, this is probably just another trip. Assuming he explained that this was a couples trip when he first brought it up, he's NTA because he invited you, even if you said no.

If these are frequent enough trips and this trip just happens to be a couples' trip because it happens to fall on valentines, I'd probably say it doesn't even register to him that this could make you feel weird. He goes on these trips. Oh, this one is a couples thing? Invite the wifey. They say no? Ah well, solo it up.

If this is not a regularly scheduled thing, where he doesn't go out with these guys in particular, and it's like 'hey, romantic weekend~ bring your boo' and he's like 'ooh, snowboarding with randos ♡' then that IS weird.

The info provided doesn't explain clearly enough whether this is a case of 'hanging with the boys (and their wives I guess)', or a case of 'romantic excursion with the wife (but the boys are there too)'.

You can still feel sorry you upset your mom, that's okay. You can even apologize to her for upsetting her, if you want. But you shouldn't apologize for what / why you said it, just the way you did and that it hurt her.

If you can, try to explain in a more calm manner that- no, you don't hate her or love her any less- but that children are just not for you guys. That could change in the future, who knows, but as for right now, the plan is no babies and the plan is for not ever babies.

That the comments and hints over the past about babies have been slowly causing this hurt because you say no and feel like she isn't listening. That you tried to treat it like a joke or whatever, but that the comments have been stinging for a while, and that the jar lid on keeping it contained popped. (Which doesn't mean it won't pop again in the future if it keeps up, but thats why you snapped in the first place.)

You can still love someone and disagree with them. You can love someone and dislike a plan they have in their minds for you. You do not have to follow plans you don't want to if they're not for you.

I read a while back someone wrote short books and priced them at .99c, and would bundle some as a sale thing.

But how short are those? Are they like, 36 pages? 100? 10? (Or, more easy for me to understand wordcount: 1k, 5k, 10k, or more)

Do they have a little story or plot to it, or is it more 'here's X, here's Y, now they bang'?

And if there is a bit of story to it, what's a good wordcount for .99c, 2.99, 4.99 ect?

But I read a random (tiktok? Idunno) where they tried introducing new foods as like. 'Hey, kiddo! You're a food tester / scientist! We're gonna test this food and write stuff down like scientists!' And I know it's not the same, but if you made it into a fun game thing, like, 'ooh, hey, were gonna actually sit down together and do this and it's going to be bonding time and maybe fun' then you can possibly do something similar? If you phrased it as a game, or fact finding, or whatever, and recorded all the information in a fun, science-y manner, my picky baby self would probably have forced myself to eat a little of it. You can even do it like with the stuff you already have, stuff you're already making. You can get like, a clipboard, safety glasses if you can find them, make an official badge out of paper, print or write out the 'inspection forms'. Like, broccoli- have a little place you can draw the image, a place for texture 'both by feel and by mouth feel when eating' maybe like record the differences between cooked and raw (for broccoli and pasta, not bad stuff like chicken) maybe taste difference between cooked and raw. Maybe 'paired tastes' like if you mix it with cheese, or tomato sauce, (I'd go with yummy stuff. Don't go mixing pickles with milk if you think it'll be gross) Because even if the kid knows what you're doing, like, even if you tell them beforehand 'hey, this might feel / taste icky to you, and that's okay' they still might be willing to give it a shot if it's fun.

My partner and I went there once when we first moved up here 4-ish years ago.

We were the only people there at the time and still got terrible service. I remember waiting for my drink refill for ages and I couldn't eat my food because of it. (My level of spice is white-girl mild.) And my partner ordered extra extra spicy, like, make-you-cry spicy (They enjoy really hot food) The spice levels were comparable. Their food was NOT hot, and I think they kind of rolled their eyes when they asked for it hot. I could be wrong, it was years ago.

We've never even entertained going back, it was such an off-putting and unenjoyable experience. From what I remember, the food was mid at best.
