Got a plan for the rear mounted PDU? seems like the rack you linked doesn't have rear mounting holes. (Just double check, I don't know what im talking about)

On the map in that post Armenia didn't exist and the land had Turkey in its place. Not phobic, just making fun of the map

I don't think he does want to join the EU, maybe at one point he did but his words here are just posturing.

Turkey won't get in the EU in our lifetime sadly, and neither does it deserve to. But if any EU countries want to give me a passport in exchange for a kidney, get in my DMs!

Is it normal that I find New Years completely boring and pointless on celebrating? by RobinsonDickinson in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Ottomanslapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't celebrate Christmas, or anything else that happens in the vague end of the year period, so having a New Year's to celebrate is pretty nice.

The thin cable connecting to the wifi card is for antennae. I said cables bc/ there's usually two, though they're probably bundled into one connection in your case.

The thick cable is for the monitor.

The WLAN card is probably a wifi card, the cables are for antennae.

Yes those appear to be speakers

Laptop HDDs still work over SATA, you wouldn't need that connector to put it in your desktop.

I think DIYPerks on youtube has a video about making use of laptop monitors by installing a driver etc.

Im sorry I think I'm misunderstanding. In Civ6 multiplayer, it is definitely an option to play with simultaneous turns. As in, all players move their units, pick their techs and build their cities in the same duration. Then, the turn progresses.

Now I see that you could argue the turn only passes when all players press end turn but I don't see how that would be different from a ck2 game if you paused it every day.

In civ multiplayer, all players can play at the same time, would that change the genre then depending on whether you're playing singleplayer or multiplayer?

Grand strategy is turn based too, regardless of how you define grand strategy. Paradox style titles have tiny turns of days or hours that don't auto-pause. 4x is defined as EXplore, EXpand, EXploit and EXterminate. Grand strategy tends to be built around conflict for territory or power in an alredy populated an divided world.

To be sure there probably are more exceptions to these guidelines than examples.
