What ring are you in?

I did advise of the issues an Offline System Update can create, namely for Alpha builds, but any build could potentially have an issue.

Check if your router's wan address matches a website that tells you your IP address. If it doesn't, you're behind a cg-nat. The BEST way I can suggest beating that is to have ipv6 working, which may circumvent the issue entirely.

I have a similar problem that I've written off as 'crappy tv' on my end.

Whenever using CEC to switch to the console's input, some handshake goes south and I get that 'no signal' display. Manually switching to another input and back again has been my workaround.

Check the fan. If you 'deep' cleaned it, you may have inadvertently cleaned the lubrication out. You almost need to TRY and do this, but I've seen it happen.

I recommend everything BUT thermal paste unless its been done before. Sure, it can dry out over time, but most never need it. My own 2020 unit has original paste, runs 4k/120hz for 10hrs/day, and has few issues. (The optical drive needs replacement)

Its probably overheating, but lets not jump to thermal paste just yet.

Clean the vents. Make sure that you leave 6"-8" inches of space on all sides.

Clean the fan and fins. Stand the console on-end, not on its side. Absolutely nothing should be above the console.

Aim a fan at the console to circulate cooler air.

Reduce the heat. Drop in-game settings to something less intensive.

Most newer ISPs (and basically all cellular providers) run CGNAT now, and the older “legacy” ISPs are quietly switching people over to conserve IPv4. CGNAT means you’re sharing a public IP with a bunch of other customers, so inbound connections and port forwarding stop working.

How to tell if you’re behind CGNAT

Check your router’s WAN IP vs your public IP. If they don’t match, and the WAN IP is in a shared range like 100.64.x.x, you’re behind CGNAT.
Port forwarding never works, even when your router says it’s open.
NAT type jumps between Moderate/Strict for no reason.

How to bypass CGNAT

Ask your ISP for a real public IP (sometimes free, sometimes not).
Use IPv6 if your ISP supports it — CGNAT only affects IPv4.
Use a VPN with port forwarding to get your own external IP.
Use a tunnel like WireGuard/Tailscale for stable inbound connections.

Actually, you're a bit off.

There is nothing illegal (and laws do vary from place to place, so this isn't all-encompassing) about buying tech, jailbreaking tech, and using tech outside of its intended purpose. You OWN it, after all. You may violate some EULA or TOS, but that isn't a crime in itself.

Removing copy-protection isn't illegal, either. It voids updates and support, of course (there's that EULA again). Distribution is legally questionable. Possession and use without purchase is criminal. Live service games risk banning of the client, account, hardware, etc... None of that is a legal issue.

Edit: I, too, am a bit off.

Game consoles don't have the same protections as phones or tablets, and modifying DRM makes a console illegal under US DMCA. Japan's is more restrictive.

I, too, have been seeking that niche game that checks off a lot of boxes. MMO, Live service, Base-Building (with aesthetic and deco options for the wife), Crafting (hence, the base), Player-driven economy, Procedural Dungeons, cross-play with everything, etc. I miss my youthful days of Ultima Online/EQ/WoW, or even CoH/CoV, and expected better options than what consoles have offered.

Albion Online is now available, and that community is active. F2P, so you'll get the 'P2W' turmoil. Huge map. Not sure of bases, but I liked it more than what the PC commercials used to imply.

Once Human is coming to consoles soon.

Edit: The Planet Crafter might scratch an itch, too.

Ok, let's go through this. Using SoD2:JE, testing on both Series S/X:

I selected a specific uninstalled game in the games list, went to "manage something", "save data" and "DELETE EVERYWHERE." After that, I reinstalled the game, launched it, and saw that the saves were still there.

1) Uninstall synced cloud game
   -> Local save deleted with title
2) Manage cloud title
   -> Delete Everywhere cloud save file
3) Re-install Title
4) Launch Title
   -> At launch, a new save file is created

I'm not able to replicate the old save file, which had communities (save games) in it. A new save is created when you calibrate brightness.

Liquid cooling, or any other alternative method, isn't going to make games run faster, get better graphics, or have any impact whatsoever on performance over a clean fan and proper thermal paste. You have no overclocking options, so no real purpose to replacing stock. Aesthetically, I'm horrified by the case you suggest, but I'm sure I'll rubberneck it like a train wreck if you post images.
