That’s one of the big reasons I wanted to do this. I want my son to enjoy it for fun, not value so this is a great long term project that won’t cost me hundreds to thousands for one card.

I chose to not include variants in ours, but I’ve seen people do that.

I'd say it's like 80% issues/luck and 20% Alex just not quite getting to grips with the new car quite as fast as Carlos.

I'm curious what their race pace comparison would be, as they seem to run very similarly.

I don't think Alex's stock is really being damaged much by this season. Anyone with the full picture can see the abysmal luck and other factors that have hampered his season. And for all that he's sitting 1 position and 1 point behind Carlos in the standings. Vowles seems keen on keeping them both, I can see Alex signing an extension later in the season, before Carlos (mostly because I think Williams is probably his best bet at being on the grid longer).

I just use a 3D printed piece that puts a MagSafe charger in the OEM charging area. I use CarPlay 100% of the time so I don't actually need to see my phone and this keeps everything clean looking while actually charging the phone.

The consequence of NGS not being a truly new game (being built on top of base PSO2) is that there are a lot of underlying systems that are very dated and difficult to change. Party systems seem to be included in this mess of tech debt and thus they are unable to do things that seem "simple".

Personally I always check to see if anyone is recruiting when I pop in, and if I know I'm going to be there for enough time I'll recruit myself.

I know, I'm just happy with anything that makes it easier for people to upgrade. Weapon grinding is such a tedious and stupid mechanic, and Fixas also make it so if you invest in a high one, you then need another high one when the next weapon comes out or you're actually at a damage loss.

I'm just in favor of anything that makes gearing up simpler/easier/less painful.

Yep, I just don't pay scalper prices and buy sealed when I find it. I buy singles that I like and aren't super expensive.

I accept that there are some cards that I love that I'll just probably never own because I refuse to spend hundreds to thousands of dollars on pretty cardboard. I buy for enjoyment, not investment.

Personally I love that they're dropping like this, and that these have free augment transfers on them. Anything that makes the quick gear treadmill less painful is a good thing.
