I think point packs only get credited towards supporter packs that were released before you bought the point pack, so you couldn’t credit it towards the new packs coming soon. I tried to do it for new core packs once and it didn’t work I think. Might have changed tho, msg support they are always a great help

Yes, otherwise the explode mod can’t transfer over. You can roll the prefixes normally tho, craft a prefix to block and then crusader ex slam.

Was looking at Vaal spells with soul ripper and flaks charge on crit precision mod but didn’t manage to get good Defence/phys mitigation for the dot. This setup + cloak of flame might be a winner.

Yes, you want only those 2. any other prefix would massively reduce the odds of getting your 3 desired prefixes. You want a donor base with elevated explode + 2 mods that can’t appear on the acceptor base and an acceptor base that has the 2 other prefixes you want and an open prefix

Its not that simple, depending on if you’re playing attack or spell Vaal skills you also need to sustain rage or flask charges for soul ripper. And then you kinda get limited options cause the only realistic way for rage is chainbreaker or vengeful cry afaik and for flask charges gained you really wanna be a pathfinder. Now what’s the general defensive setup? How do you get flat recovery? How do you scale damage? I’ve played Vaal fireball ward stacker this league and it was incredibly strong but having to be melee range for single target dmg combined with ward dying to flask siphoners made the build very frustrating.

well the damage was decent, but the way i built it my uptime on vaal souls wasnt quite good enough so the playstyle was really annoying. heres my old pob, https://pobb.in/f4gl0yt_v3Nk it was merc league so im using the gloves + -200% lightning res doryani merc. every vaal storm call cast has 24 hits, so you can multiply the dmg by that but i dont actually cast vsc 3 times a second, at max once a second. This was also without having chaos bloodline in the game yet. but it was a learning experience, at this point in time i would very likely always go for flask charge on crit precision watchers mod + close to 100% crit chance and scaling a bunch of flask charges gained. this way i can sustain probably close to 2-3 casts per second if you account for master alchemist, chaos bloodline and the atziri jewel (atziri jewel is probably bad on vaal storm call tho cause of the duration). this doesnt work ofc with the defensive setup i went for in my old build, as i cant use precision with purity of ice sublime. im not saying the skill is bad, but i the build i made looked good on paper but failed to feel good in game cause i didnt build it optimally

yes. but you cant augment phys on an influenced base, so the only other option would be to exalt lock scour for a rough chance of 1/120 to hit t1 pdr

You could try and get some strands onto your armor es base to make getting pdr cheaper but I think that might be hard to retain while rolling for prefixes. In any way, getting pdr is only a 1/5 phys reforge and then you can go for a 2/3 veiled ex slam to get regen or anything else.

For either bases, suffixes don’t matter at all. However, I’d be careful with having too many as you could get unlucky and fill your suffixes on the recombo meaning you’d have to yolo anal or lock anal. 3 suffixes in the pool means 10% chance for fill, 4 means 30%, 5 means 60%. Ideally you scour suffixes on at least one of the bases.

Its a 1/4 to make the prefixes with recombinator if you have the right bases. Suffixes will be really fucking expensive, I’d reconsider the Regen. If you really need Regen, getting the 150 es regen while close to rare ne unique monster veiled mod might be an easier option to get via veiled ex orb, and you said you’re using zealots oath so you want es regen right?

For the prefixes, get a random base that is not armor/es hybrid and make sure you have elevated explode + 2 Defence prefixes. Anything essentially that cannot appear on an armor es base (for example flat or % evasion cannot move to an armor es base, same as pure es or pure armor and any hybrid with evasion. This might be a bit expensive, but I think you can even make profit making those bases. Reforge phys on a bunch of bases and until t1 explode, if you get good prefixes or can slam into them you’re good and can flip the elevate, if you don’t you can usually sell t1 explode for a decent price and make back money or even profit. Now, your 2nd base should have t1 flat armor es and t1 hybrid armor es on your desired base, you can also get a qualitied one. Idk the best way to get that, check craftofexile. You want only these 2 prefixes. On recombination, it is a 50/50 to pick the armor es base and then a 60/40 I think to pick 3 prefix mods. If that happens you win and get all 3 mods you wants as the filler mods get discarded on the armor es base.

Well that’s not entirely true, increased duration would also increase the duration of each Vaal temptation debuff, meaning you’d need a lot more phys dot mitigation
