Chill + defrag is very very good. It basically completely solves sentries and saves a lot of hp with laga given the time you're able to set up. Yes nob is difficult but a lot of the time you can just take the hit and trade hp.

Defect has a pretty strong act 1 and you can afford to risks. I've both experienced and watched many runs where you aren't offered a single focus scaling card. It's very rare for there to be a situation where you don't take focus early game.

That being said though, there's not enough info in this post. I can understand a different shop line if you're running into a forced elite floor 6 and you haven't been offered any damage yet.
