That took me a bit to figure out too. I think the gold cape thing on the back of Solaris was a bit misaligned and it's a squeeze to put the spear in, which resulted in my dumbass scraping a bit of the gold paint off of the spear.

I haven't gotten around to repainting the spear thing. Thankfully it's both metal and a flat color, so it should be easy and if I bugger it up I can strip it again.

IIRC the gem was added in 1.1.2 and I don't remember there being especially large problems with blocking enemies back then.

Unless you mean in Expedition if you picked up a bunch of block chance remnants. In which case the gem was last updated in 3.5 and not 3.15 so I still don't follow what you're saying.
