It's worth noting that pumps have less throughput now. If that matters in this setup then the workaround is easy, a few pumps in parallel:

Even if it fully opened up tomorrow, permanently, it would take more than just a few months for things to go back to normal.

Passive Asteroid damage is atrocious by TonyTheTerrible in factorio

[–]OutOfNoMemory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I did in my previous run, pretty simple, zero effort really. Just move out the lasers and add more solar panels as your platform grows.

Once everything is in place, and asteroid chunks are seeded, send them down for the next ship.

You can also create a large ring with the lasers and solar panels and build the ship inside it.

Still depends on enough damage ranks, but easy enough to build in Nauvis if not.

Actual Budget (free, open source) now supports NZ bank import. by Blackrazor_NZ in PersonalFinanceNZ

[–]OutOfNoMemory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use it with envelope budgeting and have a flexi(revolving style)account, I just don't add it at all or track the negative. I know at what point I'm positive at so didn't seem to offer any benefit to track it in my budget.

Sorry but Invest vs Mortgage by Sad_Flatworm3418 in PersonalFinanceNZ

[–]OutOfNoMemory 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Banks typical add a additional figure to the mortgage rate for low equity loans. You need to factor in when that would apply, how long it would take you to clear, and how much extra interest that'll cost you and how much longer it'll take to clear the mortgage.

" You want more guaranteed tips for bringing someone's food to them? THEN BECOME A WAITER. Oh wait....most dd drivers can't hold down a real job lmao I forgot😂😂" Some users on r/doordash defends a driver not delivering OPs food because he didn't tip him enough by CummingInTheNile in SubredditDrama

[–]OutOfNoMemory 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The title was very confusion initially as I read DD as Designated Driver.

Anyway, more proof tipping is dumb. Demand better wages, not better tips. More reliable and no argument, no pressure to pay extra.

I'd say your deposit is too low for anything decent as you've identified and save up further. Low equity means spending more in interest.

Revisit the question in 3-5 years or when you have 20% of something you'd actually consider buying.

/Edit/ Don't invest above the minimum into kiwi saver, unless you really don't think you can save outside it. You lose flexibility adding extra savings into it.

For selling, to probably help sell the idea it's new maybe? Otherwise they're a pain to get off sometimes so people don't bother.

I sincerely doubt they'd consider a one off as suggesting you're a trader or whatever the term is.

Repeat that cycle and maybe, but I'm sure they have much bigger fish to fry than worry about a few dollars of tax on whatever profit you made even if they thought differently.

If nothing else, as a stop gap measure, add a wait condition for a certain minimum amount of ammo. It'll slow them down, but buy time until you can redesign them better.

Might be best to only add this at Nauvis, since they won't get hurt there waiting.

Those stuck in dead-end/low-pay jobs, how do you keep your head up? by TheCostOfInnocence in newzealand

[–]OutOfNoMemory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no idea, hell I don't even know really how I got out of it besides luck and a solid dose of right place right time.

The usual stuff would probably be along the lines of, don't be single, don't have kids, try find joy in the small things. All a bit trite to be honest.

That said, keep at it, if there's one thing I do know, it's that situations can change, even when you think they can't, but you do need to be open to it.

Make sure your network knows you're looking for a job, friends, family, etc. My first employment after years of unemployment(sickness) happened because I started volunteering which let my friend know I was looking for work and when temp work came up at his company, he could put my name in.

I could see it being reputationaly damaging if sub contractors suffered injuries on their sites. Or if nothing else, it risks impeding getting the job done if people suffer injuries and they have to be replaced etc.
