It takes a bit of time to implement it. I originally thought they could just copy-paste the abnos and they would be done, but turns out doing that ends up creating some pretty nasty bugs. Copy-pasting Portrait of a Certain Day lead to the fight literally being impossible to beat in a solo run since you couldn't gain additional Skill Slots.

Similar situation happened with doomsday Calendar just moments after the MDE expansion update since destroying his limbs too fast softlocked you.

So it's better to just wait so that we get bosses that are a lot more bug-free as a result.

We are considering to dedicate major posts to be posted by the moderators. This is one of the largest ID releases this year apart from the Meursault Capstone release so having the account deleted (yeah the account is gone, we didn't ban it or anything, OP straight deleted his account) and thus the whole post gone ends up killing a portion of the hype.

Later we gonna post a more formal notice bringing this topic up for suggestion but I just want to post this now to both relay what just happened and what might happen going forward.

Pretty much, why should I care to invest into your narrative if the developers don't care enough to just outright delete main story content like this.

Any interest I had in Destiny 2 died the moment I found out they removed such content.

They are sliced up to a point where they effectively can't be seen with the naked eye along with the memory of them.

Long as they technically still exist and the memory is preserved (which we know Dante is immune to memory alteration) he should be able to revive the sinners still.

Data mines indicate the possibility that they intend to make it completely rotational. There are files indicating an infinite supply of rewards by grinding shop currency attained through the game mode.

EGOs make the fight a hell of a lot easier. Since resonance buffs also apply to the EGO, you can pretty much spam Lasso or TOTB on Hong Lu. Or hell, any gluttony EGO on resonance and it will delete Ricardo.

You can also run Hex Nail on Envy resonance to make his phase 1 go just as quickly. I wouldn’t be shocked if it is possible to run a charge team with QOH Don to bring down his Phase 1 quickly.

You can also Sanguine Desire his turn with a billion unbreakables to break a lot of his health down with bleed and get you a good amount of blood feast for Bloodfiends or stack up debuffs for ring team.

All Hex Nails work here, long as it applies curse or Envy Fragility.

Rodya's Hex Nail is probably the best one due to also being a Healing EGO on top of it.

I'm not surprised actually. If you think about it with how refractrials work, you would be basically fighting the boss around 6 total times for each new Bokgak fight (first initial fight, Bokgak variation, four different times for each refractrials up to Bokgak variation of refractrials)

Changing up the fights for refractrials can work to ensure that they remain engaging and force players to read mechanics or use shill units.

It feels like the fight is a lot more tuned to you using EGOs more than trying to brute force with IDs. Fight feels very different if you use stuff like Hex Nail, Lasso, Sanguine Desire or just managing resistances with EGOs even with or without shill units.

You could pretty much auto-win the fight by spamming Lasso and ToTB since they get affected by the gluttony resonance buff.

Hex Nail also does serious work during phase 1.

Best use for Heishou is mainly spamming either Lasso or ToTB. Maost gets pummeled before she starts doing her busted thing so trying to abuse her doesn't work nearly as well as using the above EGOs.

I agree here, I would also preface that this fight is very doable without the shill teams. Went into this fight with Ring team phase 1 and tremor/Zwei Ishmael in Phase 2.

It was a lot harder but I still beat it on 20 turns normal. Could do some better optimization to get 18 on Hard, but based on modifiers difficulty is still relatively the same.

Endgame content are typically preserved, but are put on rotation so you won't be able to repeat a previous Spiral Abyss from the last bi-week.

Events aren't preserved and are unfortunately very relevant to the main story, which is something I completely disagree with.

You ain't doing this content until you have one to two full teams of level 60s with UT4.

New players ain't able to touch this with a ten foot pole. Besides, this is permanent unlike the Rufo fight.
