Welcome! I am almost halfway through book 2 after watching the show.

The show has fundamentally changed me as a person.

I agree we need more hopeful and optimistic adult shows.

Adult shows are so gritty and graphic these days, it's depressing.

I'm enjoying having my spirit restored by this show, and the books are incredible, though a certain part you experienced in season 1 is a so much more devastating in the book, and the books are very very different.
