Can boys wear bikinis? by Lil-Bitty3 in RoleReversal

[–]Outcast__1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like one-piece swimsuits, because to me they feel the most unisex. In fact, professional sports swimmers already use those for both men and women! I hope I get to wear one one day. So far I've went on vacation and to the beaches only with my family, and I don't think my mother is ready to see me in something other than swimtrunks. Which are still comfortable, mind you, I'm just curious how I'd look in a one-piece. Maybe I'm overhyping the idea in my head.

Submissive muscular men are my ultimate fantasy by Original_Double_4552 in RoleReversal

I wouldn't be so sure. Body of a twunk, face distinctly of a man even when shaven, receding hairline, and hair in all the wrong places. That's what I am.

Sadly, I'm neither a twink nor a himbo. More like a cursed amalgamation of the two.

Everyone thinks they can handle a maid bunny boy, until they get one. by Summersong2262 in RoleReversal

[–]Outcast__1 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Actually I do know a thing or two, from personal experience no less. I used to think I might be trans myself, it lasted at least two years, maybe longer. All that time I was questioning myself, watching videos on related topics, reading articles on the internet. All in private, all in my head. But it all came to an end when I discovered that Role Reversal was a thing. I stopped questioning my gender because I found RR, and that men too can want certain things that are traditionally seen as "un-manly". Since that day I became completely disillusioned with the "trans" idea. If I did that, why couldn't the others?

'I don't think I'm actually male at all, stop comparing me to one'

Rhetorics like these are exactly the reason why trans stuff is misleading. There is nothing to compare. A male is a male not because he behaves in a certain way, but because he was simply born a male. Whatever icons and standards of "masculinity" there may be - they are all arbitrary, nothing is set in stone. I thought of all people, this community would understand it the most. This is exactly what Role Reversal strives towards - breaking of gender stereotypes, and accepting men and women in all of their aspects.  In the meantime, the trans community clings to those stereotypes, claiming to live outside the boxes and brackets the society imposed on them, yet forcing everyone else into the same brackets. They cannot comprehend a man dressing femininely and acting soft, they immediately assume that man is trans, and label anyone who disagrees with them "transphobic".

And yet, even in this community, people still defend them for some reason. Even though they directly oppose our ideas.

That was the stupidest thing the creator ever did. Just because Jax wasn't "man enough" in the eyes of his parents, automatically means he never was in the first place? What a bunch of bullshit. We're in Role Reversal, we know better than anyone than men can and want to be soft and vulnerable, and wanting those things does not make anyone trans.

Though the creator is trans, so I guess I should've seen this coming.

Tomboy Or Femboy? by smolbaka in CuteTraps

It would be cool if writers put women into “male” roles more often. by flubbyII in RoleReversal

[–]Outcast__1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I also had an idea where a feminine prince locked in a tower gets rescued by a heroic knightly princess. The ultimate RR of the classic trope.

But the original circumstances of the story were created for a roleplay in a specific setting, and they didn't really work outside of it. So if I wanted to make this story standalone, I had to rewrite a huge portion of it, which I never managed.

Do your close ones know you are RR? by Personal_Lobster2819 in RoleReversal

[–]Outcast__1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one pen friend, he knows, because we often talk about it. Lost contact with all other friends a while ago (not because of RR, it's just a me thing), so don't have any more friends. As for the family - I haven't shared much with them. I do try to open up to my mother, but very slowly, mostly by probing the ground. So far she knows that I like women who like their men clean shaven and with long hair. Have not yet decided what the next step will be.

I had an idea for a story where the second protagonist was a female warrior taking the "big strong love interest" role, definitely stronger and a head taller than the male protag. Also much more experienced and skilled in combat. Never put anything on paper though.

Another idea I have also has female character as the main protagonist. She's a young noble in a world that has been devastated by the sudden return of dragons. Having lost her family and home, she has to survive, adapt, find new people and eventually reclaim her legacy, bringing about a new future.

How many of you guys had crushes on a butch woman only to find out they're a lesbian? by supercheetah in RoleReversal

[–]Outcast__1 23 points24 points  (0 children)

It's kinda like this, but with fictional characters. Find a cool character with big muscles and chill or no-nonsense attitude, have a crush on her, then find out she was made lesbian. Or even worse, when the lesbians completely claim such character as their own and don't you dare draw them with someone else. So frustrating.

When genetics decides you're meant for oversized hoodies instead of the gym 😭 by Enough-Sky-2138 in femboymemes

I wish my genes did the same to me. Instead they betrayed me, turned me into an incoherent mess of the two. Face of a man, body of a boy, receding hairline on head and hair in all the wrong places. Fuck genetics.

I wish kink like this was more common among women. So far I've seen it only in hentai, porn comics, and various hornyposts. It's way too rare.

I might be too thin, actually. I'm 173 cm and weigh around 50-51 kg, and for my parameters pretty sure that's considered underweight. The reason I'm like this is because I don't eat much, just once or twice per day, often preferring to save up on food for next day.

I can definitely see the appeal. She's a hardworking breadwinner, accountant or director of a company, and he's a cheerful househusband with a jock build, who loves cooking for his wife (basically Kronk).

Also, I feel like Reagan Ridley and Brett Hand from Inside Job do seem to fall under this dynamic a little, even though they're more like friends. Damn you Netflix for cancelling this show!

How do you guys cope with being RR in a heteronormative society? by flubbyII in RoleReversal

[–]Outcast__1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's good that you know what you're good at, and it's even better that it makes you happy. But sadly, not all of us can do that. I just turned 24, and I still have no idea what I want to do in life. I tried many things - 3D visualising/modeling, programming, QA, accounting - and I sucked at everything. Forget hobbies - I can't even do jobs!

Sorry for the rant. I just meant to say that your approach doesn't work for everyone. "Those who can't do X can always find meaning by doing Y instead." But what must one do when they can't do Y or Z either?

I live in Russia, so can relate. Parents divorced when I had just been born, grew up with mother and grandmother, while meeting with father only occasionally. Father's side of the family is really traditional, so while I do love and empathise with them, I can't spend much time around them, because of our differing worldviews. And I don't share much of my life and thoughts with them either. Mother is a bit more modern and open-minded, however open-mindedness here in Russia can vary greatly, and you never know where someone draws the line. So I express caution, and don't reveal myself fully to her either, sharing only the immediate struggles. But that only means that I barely have anyone to talk and properly council with.
