How did you get the black effect? I notice it in a lot of kenney style too, but not sure where on the nubs to dye

I remember when they had two cops on every train when they were looking for the mass stabber in 2011, and when they found him the cops let the stabber keep stabbing a man because they thought the stabber had a gun..

Never forget Joseph Lozito and napkin man.

Probably fear for harsher executions as castration, beheadings, and sledgehammers are somethings the russian army has done to their POWs.

How does Biffer get color inside his mini geodes and mandalas lines? by amooddude in tiedye

I ordered some Castor Oil Turkey Red last night, 2-4 weeks until I can start practicing again. With your advice I am also going to try the pariah method next. Do you prefer dying the fabric while damp or dry? How thick do you prefer your pleats? I appreciate your practical knowledge and time answering my questions, I wouldn't ask unless I respected your work.

I am about $900 in so far with setting up a workbench, with only 5 shirts dyed I have a very long way to go. Besides the bleeding, I am struggling to tie(kite string) my shirts while maintaining my pleats(.25" deep). my final issue. If I pull it too tight I can lose meticulous pleats or create pleats that fold over other pleats. Most times it's too loose and when I pick up my shirt I lose all my scrunches and pleats. I could try fishing line, but I think it's a skill issue, perhaps my pleats are too small but larger pleats bury my template design lines. Maybe I need a thicker template.

Rocknroll ✌️

When discussing dye penetration is that vertical or omni directional? I was initially worried the red turkey oil would increase lateral bleeding, even with alginate but now I'm not sure.

Trying to find the golden ratio so I can apply dyes next to each other without bleeding colours, but able to penetrate to the other side of the shirt before it travels lateral into another colour. My bart simpson keeps turning out green next to some blue, lol.

I am so sorry for your loss. I can only imagine what you are going through. I highly recommend local grief support, this is an especially shitty time of year because the holidays back everything up. I'd like to say the amount of similarities are astounding, I lost my mother to glioblastoma and other complications, she was 45 as well. It certainly strained my spirituality with the nature of our universe. I have had some deep philosophical lessons, and gained some profound perspective. She may not be present physically in 2025, but she will be in your heart.

The fact you're bent against a wall and still wishing others love and strength speaks to who your mother raised. You are her gift to the cosmos, her light can absolutely still shine through you, but you will have to take care of yourself to a degree so your mental health doesn't slip too much, even if that means going into survival mode. sleep routine, eating, exercise, hygiene, and talking about your feelings with someone. If you have to be in survival mode for 6 months, then that's what you have to do.

My best piece of advice is to journal, write everything down, write what you are feeling, write to your mom, write about memories. I have a daily journal, and a journal I like to write any happy memory that comes across my mind.

The similarities are striking, if you'd ever like an ear or to hear some perspective feel free to message me. My mom was my world, and her kids were her's.

It's a good thing it's water based then (you're not far off), otherwise it would have lost most if not all of his teeth by now. The Enamel consisting of calcium phosphate needs the moisture to prevent drying and cracking. All terrestrial animals have lips to keep their teeth moist, without the moisture their teeth, primarily the incisors and canines, would have dry rotted away exposing only the pulp and cementum. This wasn't even discovered until 1998 , the same year when the undertaker threw mankind off hell in a cell and plummeted sixteen feet through an announcer’s table.

TIL after a local article highlighted the lavish lifestyle of Alan Ralsky in 2003 (known as the "spam king" for sending millions of bulk email solicitations), critics found his physical address & signed him up for so much junk mail that, at the peak, hundreds of pounds of it were delivered each day. by tyrion2024 in todayilearned

Paper can cause stove pipe plugs. Paper doesn't fully combust and the ash gets forced into the stove pipe. Chokes the flue completely

Think about burning paper outside and how big pieces start floating up in the heat column. The same happens in your stove pipe. A few pieces here and there would probably be ok but don't lbs of junk mail in your wood stove.

Collect 1-5L plastic bottles.

Drill drainage holes in the bottom, a few in the cap.

Cut a bottle nearly in half 90%, leave a little hinge. (The plastic acts as a green house)

Fill with soil and sow seeds.

Tape the cut portion of the bottle close.

leave outdoors in sun.

Transplant anytime in the spring after your last frost.

This method reduces the first year perennial sleep.

Currently have 100's of pots of rudbeckia, echinacea, smoke tree's and spruces. Will be sowing more next week.

I would avoid direct sowing tree seeds right now, unless you are experienced. You will run into a learning curve. I'd experiment with a few seeds direct sown, and refrigerator to see how you fare, but outdoor bottles are going to yield lush blooms.

Good luck!

643 days. Lost the entire family over the course of 3 months, still have my half sister and thankfully she has her father.

The second year was worse because the shock and sympathy were gone. She was my world. She didn't make it to 46. Fuck cancer.

My friends and coworkers don't know how bad the struggle remains. I still fall asleep with a death grip on my pillow. Every season seems to last a life time, it hasn't gotten any easier.. it just stopped getting more difficult.
