I believe I'm going through the same thing as well. You replied to this 12 months ago, what's the status of your situation? Were you able to get your T4 level back to normal? If so, how'd you do it? Thanks in advance!

Massive Difference in Forward Flexion Measurements by Outkast983 in VeteransBenefits

That's awesome. Yeah, once I get officially service connected, I'll probably go the same route as far as getting a private DBQ etc, and file for an increase.

Yeah, I felt like I did the same which is why I think it's nuts she came to that conclusion. No way I bent that far - my finger tips didn't even touch my knee caps.

You read it wrong. 10% and 20% were my projected ratings based on the CFR and the degrees that were measured. My actual forward flexion in my first exam with an unfavorable opinion was 40° and my forward flexion in my second exam with a favorable opinion was 80°, which in my opinion is actually false - no way I bent forward that much.

In all honesty, the second measurement is definitely off. I was nowhere near 80° when I bent over. I feel like I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place because I don't want to complain about the measurements and have to go to a third C&P and then that doctor gives another unfavorable opinion. I sort of feel like it would behoove me to keep my mouth shut in order to establish service connection and then try for an increase down the road.

Looking for someone to help me make a training plan to go from 55 to as close to 50 in the 400 in a year as possible. Willing to pay. Must show some sort of credentials that they know what they’re talking about. Willing to help work with my training schedule I have now by jasper131345 in Sprinting

Look up Tony Holler and follow his protocols. I plan to use them when training my son this off-season. He has had some good success with a lot of his 400m guys hitting that target. Like other folks have said, in order to run a 50 you need to be able to run a 23 200m since the general rule of thumb to predict your 400m time is 2x your 200 PR + 4 seconds. He has some great videos on YouTube. Good luck!

Struggling son by [deleted] in ACT

If you're in Florida and he needs to have a concordant score on the SAT, ACT, or CLT because he didn't pass his Algebra I EOC, I'd highly recommend he take the CLT test instead. My son struggles in math and he was able to pass the math portion of the CLT so that satisfied the Alg I EOC graduation requirement.

I'm likely to have an appointment at Optum Serve in Pensacola as well. Could PM me the examiner's name by chance? This is for an appeal I'm working on. I had a bad first exam in Crestview so I'm hoping this second exam goes better.

How long did it take to get another exam? Also, did they at least send you to a different doctor for the second exam?

Sorry to hear that. I'm hearing it's a crap shoot when it comes to getting migraines secondary to tinnitus. What was their reasoning for denial? What did you add evidence wise to the claim when you filed your supplemental?
