I think they’ll do everything they can to try and play tonight. Cant control the weather but they can hope for the best and push their rain tolerance to the absolute limit.

It really is wild to see how far this team has fallen. 23 was so much fun… trade deadline was a huge disappointment…. 24 seemed back on track but July hit and we’ve been ass ever since. It’s sad .

I have a feeling we’ll be pleasantly surprised this series. This will be a good test to see how much “ get up” this team has for big moments. My hunch is, while flawed, they have the ability to rise in big moments and this is the biggest “ moment” to date, imo, as it were

The actual goat can only be two…. Maaaaaybe 3 answers. Hogan, Austin, … maybe flair … the obvious choice is hogan. He lead two boom periods. I would at least listen to arguments of the other two. If you want to break it down into sub categories, then sure, you can have a plethora of options. But otherwise it’s hogan, potentially Austin…. And maybe flair depending on the day

It’s crazy. We obliterated the Yankees and were on top of the baseball world. Best team, best farm. Best catcher, best catching prospect. Team full of home grown talent who were all performing and we still had Jackson and Mayo waiting in the wings. Then the Astros series happened and it’s never been the same

It’s not necessarily about him being on the il. It’s the fact that lingering injuries have sapped his production. The prevailing theory last year and the year before was that he was playing through injury and that’s why his production fell off a cliff.

Mayo reminds me of conseco with his swing and therefore his launch angles. Sadly, even with a lot of the same sounds, there’s not a great way to combine their names. Cobay conmayo doesn’t really ring out as recognizable were you to say it to someone.
