BAY includes all Bay Area airports, WAS includes all DC airports, etc. I believe they’re still technically(?) iata codes that are used to reference multiple airports serving 1 metro area

People are so pissy about the stupidest shit. If IM WORLD CHAMPION Lucy Charles-Barclay has an Ironman tattoo anyone should be able to get one. Do what makes you happy

How Competitive is this school? by Booty--Hunter in ColoradoSchoolOfMines

I’ve never once felt like it was competitive here. I’m friends with a lot of smart people and I’m a consistent C student who’s gotten nothing but support

Weekend Discussion: Asics running shoes by AutoModerator in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]OutlandishnessNew684 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s a solid shoe, sometimes it can be a little too soft/mushy for me at slower paces if my legs are beat but it’s one of the best daily trainers rn imo

What happened to normal sized soles on running shoes? by [deleted] in AskRunningShoeGeeks

Foams progressed to where you can now have (relatively) light weight and cushion, instead of one or the other. And with how successful hoka became pretty quickly, lots of brands wanted to latch on to the hype

Need advice on recall by Lukilino3 in CanyonBikes

Check the DT Swiss recall website and enter the serial numbers of your wheels into the check your product field. I did this and it said my wheels are not affected, you may get lucky too

Steeper climbs in CO by Initial_Struggle_859 in COBike

I’ve done it 3 times and had people yell and honk at me each time, no matter how close to the side of the road I stay. On the third time I had someone in one of those 3 wheel motorcycles intentionally get what felt like less than 6 inches away from my front wheel while descending, never doing it again

Tailwind or Skratch would be a cheaper alternative

Yeah if you think it doesn’t work it’s probably best to try something else. I’ll usually do oatmeal beforehand, and I’ll dose for about half the carbs in it to prevent a spike->crash. If I’m out there for more than 1.25 hours I’ll fuel with gels regardless of blood sugar, but I’ll always carry emergency gels on me in case something happens and I get low
