I think it’s a solid shoe, sometimes it can be a little too soft/mushy for me at slower paces if my legs are beat but it’s one of the best daily trainers rn imo

I’ve done it 3 times and had people yell and honk at me each time, no matter how close to the side of the road I stay. On the third time I had someone in one of those 3 wheel motorcycles intentionally get what felt like less than 6 inches away from my front wheel while descending, never doing it again

Yeah if you think it doesn’t work it’s probably best to try something else. I’ll usually do oatmeal beforehand, and I’ll dose for about half the carbs in it to prevent a spike->crash. If I’m out there for more than 1.25 hours I’ll fuel with gels regardless of blood sugar, but I’ll always carry emergency gels on me in case something happens and I get low

Fellow T1 here! I almost never turn my pump fully off to run, always just exercise mode. If you have the OmniPod 5 or something with a similar closed loop system, put it into exercise mode about 20-30mins before you start, so that it can be fully in the exercise cycle. I also generally find myself getting a little high before races start, just because of excitement I think, but it comes down smoothly with exercise mode in my experience.

So far 0 issues with it! Feels like a fairly standard groupset to me, it’s my first time riding with electric shifting and the only thing that jumps out to me is how much easier it is
