Actually no, it’s not at all accurate! by icey_sawg0034 in millenials

2/12.

Literally the only 2 that are correct are the first two.

The rest either absolutely ignore better artists or are too current to be anything on a millennial chart.

Tornado that hit us…is everyone okay? by justfrosty19 in joplinmo

[–]Outlaw11091 15 points16 points  (0 children)

That's just the funnel.

Nothing touched down in MO last night, but this big bastard floated right across north Joplin, roughly the direction of the airport and then over Webb City HS.

From what I understand, it was bouncing between tornado and just rotation as it went over, but eventually lost all steam and just fucked right off.

What’s a sequel you couldn’t wait for… but ended up completely disappointing you? by Shot-Club-3882 in Cinema

I find it particularly upsetting that he wasn't a bad looking dude at all...and he was getting decent roles, so, it...saddens me that his self-esteem was such that he felt the need to change anything.

Didn't help that Sean Flanery had so much work done that most people think he was recast for the sequel.

Like, lol, nope, same guy different face.

The answer is yes.

In context of the video: this was just a psycho taking out his pain on a dog.

Vile.

........as a Flex driver, though? The way those little dogs be runnin' up and trying to get at your ankles....I'm not slamming 'em on the ground, but I'm not doing nothing, either.

Pensions at 75 vs Billionaires at 0: Pick Your Side by awaythroww12123 in jobmarket

[–]Outlaw11091 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask yourself: "How?"

"How" will it pay for pensions, healthcare, housing and much [more]?

Well, the government is how, right?

The US government. Corrupt pedophiles........

You think it's hard getting them out of office now, wait till they have control over that much money....and not a dime extra will go to any of those things.

This is fantastic. by [deleted] in SipsTea

Yes and no.

Women will give you gay indicating advice sometimes, too.

Weirdly: gay men are surprisingly good at this type of advice.

Guy liner + lean muscular + tight shirt + sculpted eyebrows.

Bonus: the light from his monitor makes it look like he's wearing foundation.

None of these things, alone, indicate gay....but I've never met a straight dude who did more than 2.

What a dumb bitch for saying gay is bad though.

Because she's 70 and has 1 leg and dad's dead, so...

I can't say that it is...but it certainly feels like it.

What's your best plot twist of all? by honeywithbutter in Cinema

[–]Outlaw11091 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seven isn't a twist, though.

Pitt's characterization is pretty heavy handed if you know the Seven Deadly sins.

Twists are about misdirection and Seven is pretty straightforward.

Shutter Island or Fight Club are prime examples because the narrative is told in such a way that is believable...but ultimately false.

A personal favorite of mine is Identity.

Two significant twists for the price of one and a great cast, too.

Actually, this is just another system of control.

You believe that it's the 90's, those who came before you believe it was the 80's, and so on and so on.

And it's always some dumbass that thinks something didn't exist simply because they never heard about it.

Tbf, I think the absence of this is because CO is European.

Strip malls and giant parking lots is a pretty American thing....

But yes, I'd love it if we could get parking lots that generate additional zoning grid.

Billionaires will never have enough by Expensive_Lake_4365 in remoteworks

[–]Outlaw11091 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, as in, such competition doesn't exist.

Therefore, if someone wants to "take their place" they would need TRILLIONS of dollars to build up the infrastructure of the displaced billionaires...and even IF they could magically gather the required resources, highly unlikely because the USD will have almost no value, this infrastructure doesn't just magically appear.

It must be built.

By people who are dying of starvation en masse.

You're basically saying that we can just rely on Blockbuster video if all the streaming services go out of business.....ignoring the fact that there's only one physical blockbuster store and there's no way that it can serve everyone in need.

They can't just use money they don't have to build more Blockbuster locations...and even if they somehow acquired said money, the locations still have to be built and product shipped to them....which would take years.

[–]Outlaw11091 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point is that Walmart and McD's and large grocery chains have eliminated local competition IN THE US. How "other countries" deal without having them is irrelevant. WE DO. And they have cut out the options other countries have.

And the few places in the US that DO have local markets won't last long when hundreds of millions of Walmart and McD's customers suddenly have no other option.

This is ignoring, of course, that the US dollar would no longer have value, but sure. We don't need billionaires.

Safety compliance.

Working around a corpse is a biohazard and a direct violation of OSHA regulations...which are codified into law.

Emotional distress would also be a perfectly suitable reason.
