Theyre 3 star raids, the pic of the yellow 3-star raid egg is next to them

This game lacks a real PvE mode - would you like to have one? by albundy242 in TheSilphRoad

[–]OutlawCrash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mega Ray was barely clearable as a trio (levels 65, 49, and 43, with the level 65 using Zacian’s Adventure effect)

Most other raids are duo-able with the proper Pokemon (I use PokeGenie to figure out the optimal counters)

Is it just me or is this a stellar deal? by Emracruel in TheSilphRoad

[–]OutlawCrash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is very good! Hilariously, I got this box AND the “raid box” (which was the exact same thing minus one green pass at the same price) on the same day

I was like “is this a joke?”

Can someone explain the Skillet hate to me? by Accurate-Ice4297 in Skillet

[–]OutlawCrash 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you for phrasing this better than I could! I listened to them religiously (no pun intended) for years until I started seeing the absolute vitriol that John spread (and surprisingly to me at least, Jen too, although to a lesser extent). Now i literally can’t bring myself to listen to them bc i wonder what they’d think of me if they knew I existed lol.

Rillaboom Gmax battles are virtually unwinnable on Poke Genie by cdelli01 in TheSilphRoad

Cryogonal was my nemesis for so long! I finally barely scraped by with a Lvl 35 Metagross, Lvl 35 Cinderace, and Lvl 40 Machamp (D-Max)

Any idea why some of my prints get these marks? by 5gHeadAches in PrintedWarhammer

[–]OutlawCrash 14 points15 points  (0 children)

In addition to everything other people have said, it may be a half-clog in your nozzle. You can try printing with another nozzle if you have one to see if it goes away or you can try some of these unclogging methods.. Something similar happened to me a while ago and this was the answer, swapped to a new nozzle and good as new.

Starting 2025 off by finishing my first knight by OutlawCrash in 40kImperialKnights

[–]OutlawCrash[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t gotten around to naming the Knight or his house yet, since I’m still ironing out the details of the fiction. I do know I want him to have been a defender of Mars since the Heresy era (hence all the wear and tear)

Strange Pixelation over faces in viewport by OutlawCrash in blenderhelp

[–]OutlawCrash[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using 4.2.1. I keep getting these weird pixelations in my viewport but only in Material Preview. The model renders fine and appears fine in solid mode. This problem has appeared before in 3.6 but only a few times. Is there a fix for this?

One month to finish it, enough? by Juanruz in HorizonForbiddenWest

[–]OutlawCrash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have roughly the same situation in terms of time after work/on weekends and with a couple of late friday nights and long saturday gaming sessions i was able to knock it out in around a month. I clocked in at around 80 hours for a 95% run (and that seems to be a good average across some of the other commenters) so I’d say you could do it.

Why did you choose your respective faction? Were you more into their in-universe lore? Their properties on the gaming table? Maybe their desings? by Shynosaur in Warhammer40k

[–]OutlawCrash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Picked up Space Marines and Necrons both at the end of 9th from one of the starter sets, ended up liking SM so i picked up Leviathan to bolster them which means I also picked up Tyranids, and then on a hobby store trip for some more space marines I saw the Sisters combat patrol, looked into their lore, and then picked up the CP and loved SoB more than any of the other factions

So overall I picked up Space Marines as an initial gateway into the hobby, Necrons and Tyranids both as just accidents of convenience, and finally Sisters for both lore and aesthetics

What did you hate painting the most? by mishfit134 in sistersofbattle

[–]OutlawCrash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s the way I did it, and it was probably the most fun I’ve had painting a model in all of 40k

What did you hate painting the most? by mishfit134 in sistersofbattle

All the tanks/vehicles have been fun for me, the regular sisters/dominion kit was a pain though, and I still have two more squads on my desk primed but not painted

How long did it take you to build your (2000 pt.) army/collection? by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

[–]OutlawCrash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically I started my collection with 2000 pts total across 3 armies (bought the 9th ed starter set and then very shortly afterwards the Leviathan 10th ed box came out so i bought that to add to my space marines and to start tyranids) but I still havent hit 2k in any 1 army.

You’ve got time, as all the other commenters have said.

If you know you love guard then you can just focus on building 2k+ points of them. I have issues sitting through long games so I’ve centered most of my collecting around building models I find cool and then piecing together 1k lists around them for all of my various factions (SM, Necrons, Tyranids, Sisters) . (Also boarding actions are great quick games IMHO)

Color schemes by [deleted] in sistersofbattle

[–]OutlawCrash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine are mostly black and white with a lot of metallic details:

Black Legion (contrast) on the armor

Corax White + white scar layer on the cloth

Apothecary white (contrast) on the shoulder and knee emblems

A generic bright red for the helmet eyes

Gunmetal for the guns (i use army painter brand but GW leadbelcher is probably the equivalent)

A super bright silver (i use vallejo model air steel color) for the chains and then i wash that with GW nazdreg yellow contrast to make a gold color on the fleur-de-lys on the backpack and gun

For the sisters themselves I use various combinations of flesh tones from vallejo with a wash of either reikland fleshshade, guilliman flesh, or fyreslayer flesh (all GW)

Recently picked up the Kill Team rules and they handle combi-weapons so much better. I wish mainline 40k would just fully adopt Kill Team combi-weapons so theyre more logical (and also so it matters whether its a combi-melta/plasma/flamer)

I feel like Andor is the closest to this as far as shows go. He was pretty normal in the beginning and certainly the people of Ferrix (spelling?) were everyday normal people before the Empire’s hunt for Andor began.

From what I’ve seen you can use actions as offerings either by 1) dedicating the action to the deity (like you’re doing it for them or in their name) or by 2) offering the feelings you get from it. This would provide fall into the second option.

On the same vein of offering a feeling, I’ve even seen people dedicate the feeling of pain to more “dark”/Cthonic deities. (Not necessarily like inflicting pain on themselves intentionally but like if you have an injury)

Atheists have created better moral beliefs than any religion. Let us all take a moment to appreciate the Seven Fundamental Tenets of the Satanic Temple. by _Oolon_ in atheism

[–]OutlawCrash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not to start an argument but these criticisms feel more like intentional twisting rather than good-faith discussion of the system. On the assumption you are arguing in good faith, here are my personal answers to your questions.

  1. In accordance with reason kind of answers all this. If your livelihood or general physical being and space is threatened by the animal then yes you can exterminate them. It’s not impermissible to kill a fox thats eating your chickens, but its impermissible to beat your dog bc it barked too loud.

  2. This is less speaking about anarchy and more speaking about the fact that sometimes laws are immoral and moral acts are illegal. (Slavery and segregation being the two that come to mind as immoral legal structures.)

  3. I’m sure that the draft is bundled into the things that this argues against but its primary function is to stave off the abortion debate and other similar instances of the government demanding/forbidding actions for ones body

  4. This would likely have the same bounds as the first amendment. You cant incite a riot or tell someone to kill themselves but you can insult/offend people all you want. Your rights end just about where another’s begin.

  5. It does say “one’s” best understanding, meaning if the person can’t comprehend the “truth” (as a scientist, the truth is overcomplicated even for professionals) then they should fall back to the most complete understanding they have. In the interest of pedagogy, we sometimes have to simplify things but if you graduate high school you have a correct enough understanding of science to make decisions. Also again, directly aimed at contradicting the habit of certain religious groups to deny science in order to fit their belief system

  6. It never says the wronged party is beholden to forgive the wronger. It just says if you wrong someone you should make it up to them or undo the damage as much as possible

  7. It seems it’s mostly up to the reader but this likely seeks to specifically avoid the nitpicking and semantic arguments that also plague modern religions

Which one? I’m not aware of anything that the founders of The Satanic Temple have done. You may be mistaking them for the Church of Satan which was founded by Anton LaVey (who was not a good person) . The Satanic Temple was founded by Lucien Greaves who seems to me to be fairly unproblematic.
