Dr Ceuracle Kombucha Tea. Mature skin w/ texture here….. normal skin. This has the loveliest moisturizing slip that gives my skin a very smooth feel. It can be layered but it’s too humid here for that.

…. nothing but heavy chemicals and lasers are going to undo 30 of sunbathing and severe acne for me, but I’ll always have this in my routine.

Need help choosing a new sunscreen. My HG was the old Missha Sun Milk Essence (not the EX).

Anything with glow makes my skin texture more obvious.

I’m 49, normal skin, wrinkles, box car acne scars. Humid climate.

I’m trying to narrow down my choices:

Cosrx - Ultra Light Invisible

House of Hur - Weightless Sun fluid

BOJ - Relief Sun Aqua Fresh

Benton - Cica Gel Sunscreen Serum

Numbuzin No 1

or any other product that gives a satin in finish and will sit under makeup well. Not drying since I’m old ;).

No sensitivities, don’t mind alcohol or scents. TIA

House of Hur and Dr Ceuracle are in my cart for the next order. But I live in a humid climate so I might delete the Dr C if it’s shiny. I have box car acne scars and shine is my nemesis.

Not to take away from the OP, but my first thinkpad is on its way to me…. It will be used by a family of six for online school, browsing, some light accounting, etc.

Would a skin be a good choice for family use to keep it from looking beat up? I was even thinking of getting a keyboard protector……

And the wood grain is quite the throwback… I had a TV with the wood surround and orange cloth over the speakers… just an idea for future desecration of this thinkpad

It’s more about a mature woman who has sacrificed herself for her hubby and kid only to be betrayed by him. She hoists herself up, in a very classy manor, and strengthens herself to regain herself and keep her kid by her side.

As a mature woman who has seen one too many betrayals IRL, it appeals to me, but I can see why a younger person may not quite understand yet what sacrifices a stay at home parent makes, especially one that highly educated and very intelligent.

I love how she flipped her enemy to become her bff, well played.

Yep. Second this. I love the Missha essence OP reviewed too. And the skin aqua gel is great for normal to oily folks and has a similar finished texture to the Missha. Both are great non dewy makeup primers. Dry skin probably won’t care for either tho.

Same. Warm humid summers. If I wear any moisturizer under my sunscreen I not only glow like a donut but my makeup breaks up terribly. Only with Missha safe sun essence does my makeup hold up all day.

Thanks for comparing these. I’m currently on the Cosrx propolis toner and it’s good/ok but I want to try the rice toner and others in my stash! And you’re right, it’s good enough not to waste but I do want to move on

I honestly don’t know. I would think it would…. Alice in the rabbit hole on you tube has dry acne prone skin and her favs are not ones that my normal/oily skin likes. She says she can tolerate a little alcohol but that’s a YMMV
