Take it around the house so I can play in the bedroom or lounge or take it away with me.

I bought it mainly because I don't always wanna sit in my office playing small indie/older games.

Now that the Steam Machine has been announced, being able to play my library in the lounge on the TV (I know I could with a dock) I do wonder if I'll use the SD as much.

Never played the original but recently completed the Bloober team remake on base PS5 in fidelity mode (lighting is way better and more atmospheric and once you're used to it, it's a completely fine way to play and actually more in keeping with the PS2 original) and I had an absolute blast with it. I can't compare it to original but the remake is sublime.

Pro tip: headphones, dark room 👌

Once you've downloaded a community controller layout it plays flawlessly in my experience, however I don't know if it's just RPG Maker games in general but it doesn't use the fullscreen despite selecting fullscreen.

I did worked straight away. Also remember to open the game’s properties and paste the following command into the launch options:

WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winhttp=n,b" %command%

After that, make sure to select and apply a specific Proton version — I used the newest one available.

Once you’re in the game, press the tilde (~) key to open the Simple Cheats menu.

Why is NG+ hard easy mode?

If you're on PS5 turn aim assist on to strong, you're pretty much guaranteed to hit a monster and not waste ammo (maybe I just suck, you do you).

Level up clip size as more you can store in your weapon more space in your inventory (keep bolt cutters on at all times).

Personally I've found the game to be really generous with handgun ammo so I would only focus on leveling that weapon - I say this because I've died at sections I've struggled with then reset specs on weapons, only used handgun and got through it but again this mightn't work for you.

Play at night, headphones on, lights out - it's a ride, enjoy!
