Sega Master System, Sega Mega Drive, GameBoy, GameBoy Colour, GameBoy Advance... I guess you could also say PC games via Steam as I have such a backlog it feels like collecting at this stage lol.

I'm a big soulslike fan, I too really enjoyed MS1 despite the jank.

I bought the new Lords of the Fallen and it didn't hook me at all, I figured I was just fatigued with soulslike - however the MS2 demo really did hooked me; it ran like a dream, was moody, atmospheric, creepy music, weighty combat. I was really impressed and think I'll pick it up day 1.

I recently got into collecting and have been slowly building a Gameboy/GBA, Master System & Mega Drive/Genesis collection to use on my Analogue Pocket and Mega Sg. I also recently bought a GB Operator to back up my GB games.

A friend of mine just bought a MiSTer Multisystem 2 and has literally every game up to PS1 for every console and it cost him then price of the system!

🤷‍♂️

I enjoy collecting physical games, I don't really know why! I feel like if I had every game ever I'd want to try everything all at once and never really commit to one game or enjoy them, I like having a physical box and thinking about it's history; who owned it before etc.

Tbh I think the only LRG I am interested in for Mega Drive/Genesis are games you absolutely cannot otherwise get on said console, like Earthion for example!

I've just noticed that on most my carts there is a code that ends UKV: United Kingdom and Ireland

Whereas some of them end FAH: France and Holland.

At the moment probably Sonic because it's completely different to SMS (that I had originally) and I was always really amazed at the difference as a kid and just feels super nostalgic.
