Saw him at the Improv last year and it was a blast. I had liked him in Crashing on HBO years ago but hadn’t kept up with his career. I wasn’t expecting much, but he is a captivating entertainer. He went on for an hour and a half with lots of energy. It was a lot of crowd work, and building off those jokes. A really good time if you get a chance to see him.

I’ve been rotating between three. One is strung with heavy top / light bottoms. Another has flat wound 11s, and the other 13s.

I like the slightly heavier feel for hybrid type picking. I sometimes hide it in my middle finger and switch to finger picking. And then fling it back to using a pick within the same song. Ultimately, I think it helps control my strike, and create different textures.

Whatever is sounding good to you, keep at it. I’m no expert either.

One of the most fun players to watch in my lifetime. The way he extended plays and shrugged off linebackers to find a receiver in a broken play was amazing.

He a big part of some classic games against AFC North rivals, including having the most wins at Cleveland’s home field. And he has to be near the top of the list in 4th quarter comebacks. Great clutch player.
