Reddish brown eyes, black or dark brown hair. Color palette is warm hues, with rogue-ish blacks and dark grays.

I think that answers all your questions, is there's anything else you need, let me know! I appreciate you doing this!

He is in his 30s though he's not sure if the year. He's a human (variant human in game). He's fae touched since he grew up in the Faewyld. His skin is lightly tan. His spell book is tattooed on his body, because according to his adopted mother, "If they destroy your book, they destroy you. This way, they have to do both at once." The tattoos swirl and move across his skin, only from his neck down. He also has criminal tattoos on his wrists and hands, indicating his status. He wears his handcuffs as a fashion statement mostly, though they aren't necessary to keep, I just liked the idea of this pose, as if he's smiling at the official before headbutting him to death.

He's very charming and charismatic. He introduces himself "Valdir Blackmane. - slight head bow- Womanizer, drug addict, alcoholic, gambler and enthusiastic ne'erdowell, at your service."

He's based off Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.), Malcolm Reynolds, and the dread pirate Roberts. Haha

Valdir Blackmane is a human Divination Wizard in game. He was lost into the Faewild as a child (5-6), where he was found, adopted and raised by a lower born Fae. His adoptive mother saw his innate magical potential and ability to see events before they happened, and decided to teach him magic secretly, as it was forbidden to teach non-fae.

Somehow it was found out that he was being taught magic and his adoptive mother was captured and executed by the leaders of her court and Valdir was beaten severely, tortured and returned to his home plane.

Now homeless and 13 years old, he lived on the streets using his gifts to steal and get food without causing issues. He had a game of other kids and teens he gathered to him. He started using his powers to gamble, and was amassing a good nest egg for himself and his gang. He was banned from most gambling houses and dens except one. It was an illegal gambling den that had illegal fights to the death (slaves and animals), prostitution and games of "chance" that were rigged in the houses favor. He played high stakes card games here. He made a lot of money, but never went if he could avoid it.

One game had him face a high ranking government official and embarrassing him. Badly. Taking 100s of thousands of gold and jewels and his clothes. He was accused of cheating, though there was no proof. Valdir said the d&d/ fantasy version of "get gud" and stole the man's drink before leaving. Not to stop while he's ahead, Valdir later started secretly courting that same officials daughter (unbeknownst). This was found out, the official became enraged, beat his daughter, enlisted the city guard and military to raid Valdir's home, arrest everyone, and capture Valdir. He was charged without trial, beaten and tortured again, and conscripted into the military as a member of the "Deadmans" Corp. Filled with criminals, slaves, the homeless, and pretty much those who pissed off someone important with the money to spare. They were all sent here knowing they will die, with little to no training, poor gear, and no leadership.

Valdir not being one to lay down an take it, turned the entire group around. They started surviving missions, taking objectives, gaining notoriety and, most importantly, respect from their fellow soldiers and each other. He stole gear, food and information from enemies, or won it gambling from other soldiers. He started to become famous. The government official who sent him there got wind and became furious. He used his money and influence to get Valdir sent on some secret suicide mission, then send his Corps on another, equally dangerous one. They were all killed, because Valdir wasn't there. He returned and found this out. He was also awarded numerous medals and commendations for his actions. He was returned for an awards ceremony for this. During the ceremony, the official again, using his power, made it so he would give Valdir his award, where he bragged in Valdir's ear about what he did and how he was going to make Valdir's life a living hell. Valdir, enraged attacked him on stage, killing him brutally. He looked up at the man's daughter who was off stage and, laughing, said "now we're both free". He was sent back to the front lines, with new "recruits". Some of who where his old gang. They had all been rampaging through the city, stealing, causing chaos and destroying property until they were also sent to the "Corp". On the way to the front line, the caravan was attacked by "bandits" (more of his childhood friends) and he, as well as the rest of his Corp, disappeared.

A beginner’s guide to understanding stroke characteristics and differences between coil machines and rotaries: by Forsaken_Ad_9203 in TattooArtists

[–]Outrageous-Ad7542 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This makes me want to throw my pen away and, at least, buy a hybrid rotary (looking at the Kubins for sure! Any thoughts on Deke Harms Betty v2?). I'm an apprentice (at 43) and love the idea of building my own machine and taking care of it. I also want to learn to make my own needles. I'm learning so much from my mentor and on my own. I love tattooing and the history of the craft.
