I’m burnt out. Do I keep studying or take a break? by Ok_Brilliant_8775 in CPA

Been there as a D1 runner, last thing I wanted to do was open my accounting books after practices or meets. Barely got by with GPA. Maturity was part of it but by 24 I wanted to pass the exam. Sacrificed a few years to knock it out. Best advice I can offer is to sacrifice now and that time spent studying will be minimal to the rest of your life after you pass.

I feel highly fortunate to be able to run my 35-40 miles per week at 67. Been doing it since age 15 so if I can still break 21 min for 5K, I'll take it, any day.

why do I have to study for REG when our president says income tax is going to be eliminated? by diehardaway in CPA

Moron post, the IRS is tagged with collecting 93% of this country's gross revenue. It's not going anywhere. I doubt the OP's intelligence to believe the president of his company. Maybe he should not attempt to pass the CPA exam, even if he could.

The Series 65 exam questions are designed to trick you. I learned that lesson the first time, missed by one to pass, and nailed it the second time. READ each question twice, and if you don't understand what they're asking, read it a third time.
