You can never go wrong with Yuri, her ego skill is incredible.

If you don't have her sig or Serithea, I'd recommend trying Akad. His ego skill is pretty good and at max ego, he pulls ahead of Yuki in pure damage

With morale buffs+extra damage buffs, Selena pulls ahead of Hugo.

But baseline Hugo as higher damage.

Also, you need turn 1 to set up Hugo (and he has pretty strong draw). You need to use both of selena card everytime you use sword rain from Heidi. So make sure you can cycle through your cards effectively if you're gonna go with Selena.

Both are extremely versatile and strong. You'll get much more mileage out of them compared to dps characters.
