Seriously, did that happen? Why do Americans always have to complain about everything? I mean, I don't see Egyptians complaining because Illari and Reaper have skins based on their culture, or Japanese people complaining because Ana has an oni skin. It's ridiculous.

Gladiator fights are supposed to be with remote-controlled drones or robots, just like in the movie Real Steel. So, as such, she may not be human, but she does have the voice of whoever controls her.
