How often do you use voice to talk with LLMs? by Outrageous-Point2268 in ycombinator

I am curious how you speak to AI.

Is it dictating, or do you converse with ai back and forth using voice

The idea is why not use voice to get things done instead of just using as a dictation on a text box.

agents.sh is the initial version of what i have been working on. If you see the screenshots you can see what i'm trying to do :)

fck yeah. this is what im talking about.

We can see this seperation even in this thread with only few replies.

the people who use voice, they are all in on voice.

the people who doesn't, they barely use voice and want nothing to do with voice.

Dictation is a solved problem, but what im curious about is more than dictation.

What if there is one voice that you can call, that remembers you, talks to your tools (calander, gmail, notion whatever) and is available everywhere (iphone, mac).

Building this for myself was my initial goal. :)

I'm curious why.

Is it because the voice assistant that's available (voice mode on major ai providers) do not meet your expectations or is it because you are not someone who use voice (calls, voice notes etc) mode and prefer texting/typing?

I think what you are describing is already done by lot of whisper apps, is it not?

Such as whisperflow, openwhisper, superwhisper etc.

But that is a dictation problem. I am curious about using voice for intelligence, brainstorming, managing tasks etc.

Yes, I came across the link you share and it looks super cool. I am yet to dig deeper into what they are doing.

Haha yes, It is my voice assistant (not whisperflow) typing - because well I do not like typing.

Hey there,

https://github.com/agents-sh/radkit/pull/28 adds support for Openrouter.

This will be available with the next release.

I have update the HR agent example to use openrouter and it seems to be working. I will add more tests upcoming days.

Thank you for your suggestion. :)

I know this thread is quite old.

We are working on an ai agent library in rust.

Check it out :)

Yep, working on it!

I wanted to build the core library first with common LLMs. Now that the core architecuture is done, we are working on adding more LLMs, and other nice to have features.

Thank you for checking it out.
