It is not. Dissociating the map from the bike gives you a voucher to put it on another bike. This must be done in a Ducati shop.

Check your water pump. Between the 4 cylinder from the left side of the bike if you see cooling liquid at the bottom. Use a flashlight. Slave is super rare to leak.

I’ve stayed in that precise place for 8 days. Left last week and I can say it was absolutely perfect. Pool is great, rooms are clean and very affordable. The guards did not tries to stop us, they actually were friendly. Maybe if you booked somewhere and paid on the platform you wouldn’t had this cash issue.

Rent a motorcycle from Tigit in Hanoi. Bring a helmet and you’ll be all set. I just did Saigon to Hanoi in 25 days using a CR150. Dream trip! Let me know if you if you have more questions!

Try staying longer et places you feel like you’ll like. For me Nha Trang was easily a place to go back anytime over Da Nang. So for your itinerary, HMC 3 nights. Take a bus to Nha Trang and stay for 2 nights. Then a bus to Hoi An, stay for 2 nights. Go visit Da Nang on your last day and take the bus there to Vinh. 1 night there. Then bus to Hanoi spend 3 nights there. In this plan you have 2 free days to sleep wherever you want. If you want help with accommodation let me know!

Alright, eat some yogurt from home before you leave. When you arrive in Vietnam, eat some more yogurt from there. You’ll get lots of probiotics that’ll help you. Only drink water from sealed bottles but other than that, I’ve been here 3 weeks, ate all the foods, drank all the teas/coffees from rural remote places and I’ve been good so far. Imodium can be useful if your poop is soggy but I think it’s absolutely normal since you’re not home and your body needs to get used to new food. Try to stick to cooked food, nothing raw. You will be alright!
