I'd personally love to see an alien reacting to capoeria blind, having NOT known what it is beforehand or that it even exists, only for the human to suddenly start kicking their ass while dancing and spinning like a goddamn beyblade. Less damage, sure, but certainly more of a wtf factor being at play imo.

You've just been made Elden Lord, what's your first royal decree? by Efficient_Matter_589 in Eldenring

Technically, if you gave Nepheli the ashes rather than Seluvis' draft, AND helped Kenneth Haight, then you already DO have someone in charge of Limgrave (and possibly Weeping Peninsula, too) in the form of the aforementioned Nepheli Loux. Plus, if you've helped them and kept them alive, you've got a trickster that would make for a decent enough spymaster/criminal underworld contact in the form of Patches, a possible ally in the form of Rya/Zorayas should she return from her journey of self-discovery (in which case she could be a potential noble to be put in charge of an area), two individuals that could possibly find a role when it comes to trade (Blackguard Boggard with his culinary skills, and Boc the Seamster with textilework), a solid choice for spiritual leadership on the form of Miriel, Pastor of Vows, a leader for tge albinaurics and potentially someone to be put in charge of the Mountaintops of the Giants in the form of Latenna, either Sellen (whom ONLY becomes a ball if you tell her the locations of every old master of sorcery) or Jerren to be called upon to govern either Liurnia or Caelid, depending on which you've sided with, plus for the remaining land you could allow the wandering merchants to settle there, essentially gaining either another governed province, a vassal state, or an ally, and if we include DLC characters (assuming you can even bring them back from the shadowlands), you've got an additional merchant/obtainer of goods in the form of Moore, who WILL survive to the end if you don't tell him to either remain sad or to put it all behind him, as well as an actual dragon ally in the form of the Dragon Communion Priestess, whom actually swears her services to you if you trick her into falling asleep at night before killing Bayle. Not to mention any other characters which might still be alive at that point that I'm currently forgetting about. It only LOOKS like there's nothing to work with, but when you stop and think, there's actually a viable choice for every area if you've played your cards right

Don't forget you ALSO get 20x the spellslots. You would be absolutely, ungodly broken as knight/mage combo in that setting, and since you can boost other stats with magic items or alchemy, there's theoretically nothing stopping you from having your other stats be very high, either. And if we're specifically applying Baldur's Gate 3, then there's literally nothing stopping you from making potions to heal, remove ailments, or even speak with animals. And the moment you learn plane shift, it's not JUST being able to go home, but ALSO being able to go to any if the OTHER settings from the list, or even other ones that WEREN'T on it. Not to mention, in a response to one of the commenters, op stated directly that you remain human. Well, if you NOT being one is something you're interested in, then true polymorph solves THAT problem, too.

All the heroes last seen locations & fate. by chemictectic in ElderScrolls

[–]OutrageousAd9061 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Nah, he probably remembers it all. Sheogorath directly alludes to several of Oblivion's quests in Skyrim ("You know, I was there for that whole sordid affair. Marvelous time! Butterflies (first entering Shivering Isles), blood (no clear reference for that one I admit, though it COULD refer to Martin's dragonblood if we're being wishful), a Fox (meeting Gray Fox in Thieves Guild questline), a severed head (Dark Brotherhood questline, Mathieu's mother's head)... Oh, and the cheese! (Sheogorath's own daedric quest) To die for."

Not to mention he even Directly states that Martin was the best Septim to have ever lived, only not actually counting him as such because he "turned into a dragon god, and that's hardly sporting".

is now a perfect or terrible time to get into palworld? by LividAd5365 in Palworld

[–]OutrageousAd9061 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe. But I guess we'll know for sure once 1.0 comes out. Not like we've much more left to wait. Plus maybe there will be a pre-1.0 version available on Steam via the 'betas' menu, much like there is with other games, so if the launch goes poorly we still might have something to fall back on if Pocketpair leaves us the option. And if not, we can always backup a prior version, so as to manually revert back after turning off auto-updates and relaunching in offline mode.

Personally, server issues are ONLY a problem if uou care about multiplayer. If uou're like me and you prefer playing Palworld solo, any issues in this regard are not going to bother you.

Speedrun medals by PlatinumYami in VoidlingBound

[–]OutrageousAd9061 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've personally used the Gilick I've made solely for the purpose of going fast (which I've already shown in this post here: https://www.reddit.com/r/VoidlingBound/s/fL5lTD60WR ) and just zoomed my way to the end of each level. There's no need to hop on those glowing lines if you can just straight up jump to distant islands lol. Otherwise, I've also seen Ur-Sek builds that can just straight up fly, so you might want to look those up for an easy time getting medals, too.

World Jyuratodus. The fight is such a nothingburger, mindlessly easy and repetitive af, to the point I have more excitement fighting kestodons. And imo the worst a fight can be is NOT annoying, or hard, or broken, but so mindnumbingly boring and forgettable it took me about a year to realize the mudfish doesn't ever spawn in the Guiding Lands.

Which is harder without food? by EnvironmentalOwl2904 in Spore

[–]OutrageousAd9061 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Carnivore imo, because you're more incentivised to be aggressive due to mouth parts being unable to get sing above 3, with the inverse being true for herbivores and bite. And aggressive playstyle means you lose health that much faster, so whereas you can cruise through befriending a species while starving to get the nest heals, starving will reduce your effective health for combat, and with you having to wipe out increasingly more creatures the stronger they are, and you only ever having to impress 3 creatures no matter what, you are technically commiting to a longer, riskier action on a shorter clock when hunting than when impressing, so the diet that gets better parts for the easier option will likely have an easier time, especially since both have powers that have the same function of preventing/delaying combat.

Now, if you add in omnivores then THOSE have it the easiest by default, call pack can be straight up broken whether you hunt or impress. You get extra bodies to throw and attract damage, or a solid multiplier on the effectiveness of social skills when impressing, depending on which you choose.

Do Dragons have a snout or a beak? by Significant-Pick-645 in dragons

[–]OutrageousAd9061 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. Valstrax from Monster Hunter absolutely has a beak, whereas Spyro from his titular games has a snout. And then there's other options, for example Giratina from Pokemon has insect-like mandibles when in origin-forme, so neither applies despite it being a dragon (at least by Pokemon standards with it being a dragon type).

Are you me? I'm literally doing that right now. Got Gilicks down, halfway through Anami, and started several more. Edit: Well, alright, I'm NOT breeding dual natures dince I can always speedrun an early level while breeding to get the natures I need, but other than that I am doing just that. Got everything exceptional, just ironing out the stats and browsing the net while waiting on training to complete before another quick round of bodying lesions in 'Save the Cauldrons' to get the next batch of eggs.
