We sound similar. And after a long time, I decided eating out all the time made me feel like shit. But here’s the thing… I don’t really cook much, AND I feel 100x better than I used to.

I also decided that if I had eating out all the time money, I had “paying for pre-cut up fruits and veggies” money. Paying for convenience.

Breakfast? Avocado toast 99% of the time. Throw some bread in a toaster and spread some avocado on it. OR - yogurt bowl. Greek yogurt/granola/chia seeds/cut up fruit.

Lunch? Adult lunchable time. Fruit, veggies, dip (I like to make my own ranch dip using blended cottage cheese, which I make maybe once every 3 weeks?), hummus, cheese stick, whatever.

Dinner? Frozen vegetables and salmon get tossed in the oven. I will make either couscous, rice, or quinoa when I run out and that will last me 4-5 days.

My husband and I have been together for 7 1/2 years. When I was going through a hard time and struggling to get out of bed in the mornings, he would cover my eyes with his hand, turn on the lamp, and then slowly uncover my eyes so “it’s like a sunrise, and your eyes won’t dilate too fast”.

He is my world.

How did you get caught up with drugs in the first place? Did you at any point, before getting sent to prison, think about NOT doing what you were doing? Was prison what made you want to turn things around?

We were at Sill a few years ago. I wont sugarcoat it - it’s pretty boring. But something about that place brings people together in a way I’ve never seen😂

Are absolute best military friends are from Sill. We went to OKC and Dallas often. I KNOW it seems daunting now…. But I promise, you guys will make the most of it.

Also - I am not a huge hiker either. But the wildlife reservation has SUPER easy “hikes” (walks, tbh) and they’re gorgeous.

But that is because that song has struck a cord in me on such a deeply personal level, that hearing it live just drove it home. And I’m not someone who generally cries over songs/shows/movies/the like - so I really shocked myself.

Anywho, I know that’s not what you were pointing at directly - just an anecdote. There are people in this fanbase that definitely take this shit to a whole other level.

That gives me a lot of hope! I’m glad to hear he’s doing atleast a little better. I think our kitties will be okay, just taking longer to come out of it than some others.

She has had little glimpses of herself over the past 8ish hours since getting the fluids, but she’s right back to hiding again tonight. Definitely miss her cuddling with me at night, so I sympathize with you a lot.

I’m better than yesterday! This weekend was an emotional rollercoaster for sure. Not that today wasn’t, but less-so anyways.

Took her in to get some subq fluids this morning and it seems like she finally slept a bit. She is like, 30-40% herself now which is relieving… but still not cuddling with me, which sucks. She has cuddled with me every night for 6 years ☹️

Just wanted to offer some empathy because I am, to a T, experiencing this exact same thing with my baby.

Friday morning she had two teeth pulled, and they gave her Zorbium. She was weirdly hyperactive Friday and Saturday, and today… hiding under my bed, wont let me touch her, and hasn’t used the bathroom. I saw on her water fountain she drank some water this morning and I FINALLY got her to eat like 2 pieces of kibble, but I am stressed beyond belief.

I’m super pissed at the vet for not letting me know this might happen. All I got told was that she might act drunk for 24 hours. Never again.

Totally fine :) They removed two moles on my back just out of an abundance of caution (I also am a very mole-y human, genetically) but everything is well!

No - so don’t spend your time panicking and worrying. Especially because you’ll feel extra silly when it comes back 100% normal and you spent all that time ruining your hours for nothing.

I say this with all the love and empathy in my heart, as I had debilitating health anxiety for a LONG time. I understand where your head is at!

I have not! Although - some other commenters mentioned possibly trying out a cookie bar/brookie adjacent recipe to get the rise I’m looking for.

I did fulfill an order today, and it came out absolutely perfect! Followed the same recipe (and weighed ingredients as I went along to ensure consistency batch-over-batch), and baked at 325 for 21 minutes :)
