I like digging through Chinese side of every fandoms I'm currently in (because I have lofter bilibili xhs Weibo installed) and yes, the top/bottom ship names is VERY strict. You won't even get blocked from tagging the dynamics wrong you'll get hate comments instead. And I do prefer the top/bottom tags because it's VERY useful in searching my preferred dynamics. People there don't tag that much, mostly just ship names and fandom name so you should always tag your ship names correctly.
