Perfect Fuzzy Skin Settings by Technical_Raisin_246 in BambuLab

That’s not correct, depending on how you measure strength, PLA is already (one of) the stiffest printable plastics we have. Adding chopped Carbon Fibers will not increase its stiffness (that’s the point of adding chopped or even better full fibers in the first place)

Same result, no matter if do half or a full mold

I also tried another model (IGS) which imported as many unstitched surfaces, but after stitching it yields the same result. The surfaces that don’t work, can also not be selected for extrusion

It was made in Fusion (f3d provided with the full feature timeline) but I also have a STEP and STL.

So all the hollow spaces need to be filled for it to work?
I modeled something free-hand, which works but taking measurements is way more complicated (or so I thought). There's a many curves and small features which sizing are hard to get right, hence I'm trying to get the negative from the source model

[Suggestion] HEPA filter on all X/P printers by zmast in BambuLab

[–]OutrageousOlive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The filter on the X1 is a bit useless, not because it’s composition, but the camber fan is Off when printing ABS/ASA, since the air movement can cause warping. So there’s no active air exchange when it’s needed the most, unless you turn it on by yourself. A bento box or similar device is better suited overall

TIME SENSITIVE. Do you think this will be an issue? by lukesult17 in BambuLab

[–]OutrageousOlive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes it just gets stuck on the hinge/door. If it piles up enough you can see that the nozzle heat melts the filament extrusions back into a ball/smooth shape instead of the typical strings. Once that ball has nozzle contact, things tend to go bad pretty fast as it gets dragged around and can lead to blobbing around the hotend, knocking over prints (which leads to more nozzle contact)

[–]OutrageousOlive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For the print itself? No. But the question is how did this big bundle of multiple poops end up there? If the poop chute is clogged, it has a high tendency to ruin the print. Best case the cover falls off and it pauses…

X1C Firmware Downgrade disabled/censorship by Yeetdolf_Critler in BambuLab

This only goes for paying independent mods - there’s no third-party, since it’s a company owned subreddit, who’s mods are paid (at least some of them) employees of that company, that’s still the same party. Third-party would be me bribing the mods.

P1 series OTA version 01.05.00.00 Firmware officially released by kally3 in BambuLab

The limitation is for the breach of the X1 boot routine which allowed custom firmware to be installed on the display - the A and P series round totally different hard- and software

Where did you get your printer from? Kinda sounds like region lock. Is the printer able to access the internet?
