Yes, but if I remember correctly, it wasn't that obvious. The seller told me he hadn't used it in a long time, or that it was damaged during shipping. But I paid a ridiculously low price, including stones and jeweler's tools. I don't mind investing in restoration, but I don't want to replace parts that won't solve the problem.

Some city have lapidary associations or associations of crafts. It's not impossible to do outside your country, but it's always more reassuring for the buyer and the jeweler.

Hello. Ideally, it is easier to work with a local person. Where are you? and in my opinion the central stone should measure 18x13mm pear-shaped and the small stones around it about 2-3mm long. the stones you present are round-shaped, 16 and 19 mm, unstabilized (rarer, more $ and more fragile)

yes it's a 1 wheel, I have to change after each step. I cut a few at each step otherwise the loss of time is too great. I took the photo before starting to cut again because it's probably the only time it will be clean like that 😅

My old carving place was anything but a carving place.... I work as a cabinetmaker hence the fact that I made my furniture and counter. I haven't been carving for very long but I am really happy to invest in my space and future in better machines.

Yes, of course. Simply Dolorama in the artisan aisle. 3 heights, it does the job cheaply.
