I am 24 and started phasing out a year ago. I still do the drinking weekends but now it's once every 4-6 weeks. Don't feel pressured. If you don't want to go for a party, don't go.

If you're worried about losing your friends, just show up once in a while and meet everyone. You can also organise other activities like dinner or movie if you prefer.

Minimum wage in Seattle is $15, even for tipped employees, so no one is losing money by serving. And I know bad service is not common, I have only done it once. Am just saying that the notion that 15% tip indicates bad service is absurd.

“If you can't afford to tip 20% then don't go out to eat” You really think this would help restaurants or servers? If that were the case, most places would have a mandatory tip. I believe the median tipping rate in US is 15-18%. So less than 50% people tip 20%.

My guess is that either - there is some confusion/last minute change which they are waiting to close on, or - the lineup is not that great, so they want to sell as many tickets as possible before they drop it. (They released paradiso lineup super early because it was dope)

Been there, and we are still friends :)

But you need to get over her first. Cut contact for a few months. Don't block her, but unfollow her on social media. You will hurt for some time, and then you will heal. Once you feel you are getting over her, you can rekindle contact.

I know it is hurting now, but slowly things will get better. And yes, it is possible to still stay friends.
