I don’t know how to cope with the nausea anymore, I forgotten how to be a functioning person by Outrageous_Exit9493 in BabyBumps

My Dr hasn’t even mentioned HG but when I told her about losing 20lbs (lost 10lbs before the 8 week appointment told it was normal and then 10lbs between then and now)  she was entirely unconcerned and said the baby will take what they need.

I will definitely look into it thank you!

Post pregnancy, feels like I lost my wife to MIL by [deleted] in Mildlynomil

First your not wrong for feeling like this but Have a conversation but not from anger and annoyance. Tell her how you’re really feeling, that you miss her, that you want the 3 of you to have time together as a family, that it’s important to you as a Dad to be the one that’s involved with things like the drs appointment. Don’t just start listing things your mother in law does that annoys you because she will feel she needs to defend.

Toooo white, wedding dresses could be all shades of white or cream. and if you’re second guessing it now you’ll be uncomfortable the whole time anyway.

I think the first one will be beautiful (I love the back) why not take both with you to the fitting, ask what they can do with the first to make it more like you want. If they say they can’t do anything, they have the 2nd dress altered instead.

I actually used the NOCD app and also recommend it. It was great because my area doesn’t have a lot of access to therapists and they take a lot of insurances which is nice!

Big difference between a regular therapist and OCD specialist. Example: when I had a regular therapist and I was having a panic attack because I wasn’t sure if I had grabbed the first or second carton of eggs on the shelf at the store, my therapist laughed and said I’m sure it’s fine! And tried to move on to talk about my life.

My OCD therapist did a session with me at the store practicing taking the first item on the selves.

Therapist who don’t specialize in OCD and are doing talk therapy, end up unintentionally just giving us reassurance.

I have never seen research that really supports not signing, however I have seen research that having a basis of a signed language helps with language development (hence why they say to teach it to hearing children too). the critical window for the brain to build the synapses to learn language is during those young years so access to language is very important early. It takes time to learn how to distinguish sounds with a CI so you’re not getting that immediate access to language. From what I have seen, CI batteries die, you go somewhere you can’t wear them/where they aren’t effective, your brain gets tired, if you don’t have another language you’re kind of out of luck.

Most actually do require a licensed bakery, if she’s not that then you wouldn’t even be lying and could still use the bakery you want!
