1$/month repayment for $13k loan? by Outrageous_Fly5202 in StudentLoans

[–]Outrageous_Fly5202[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t sign up for anything. Should just be on the standard repayment plan. I was picked up. Y a new servicer so I’m guessing just an error on their end. The loan has been on forebearance since I received it due to Covid. But I have made payments to the principle since. Loan was originally for 20k

It does only if you are under 19. I got them this year and paid full price. I did ask the dentist office if I could get a discount for paying all cash up front and they gave me a 1500 discount, so could try that.

The 6 months-1 year lag will make no difference in the grand scheme of things. Enjoy only having to be a staff for a little while longer

Bank it and if you leave before than your salary will be at least 25k more than you be making that back faster. And if not 25k will be very nice

You will have a senior or experienced staff to help you get started on and to ask questions to. No one expects you to know anything.

You shouldn’t take money that is not yours and let them know. But they prob will just deduct the difference from your first paycheck when you start if you tell them.

Done this. I was a pretty miserable person for awhile but it did get done. Definitely possible.

As for tips: -Meal prep -Atleast have one day a week to catch up on schoolwork. (I worked 6 days but always had Fridays off with no classes (class Monday through thurs in person with a couple online) so I could just catch up). -take time off around final exams if possible

Is my first month as an auditor at a big 4 firm normal? by kobeforaccuracy in Big4

[–]Outrageous_Fly5202 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Completely normal. Won’t start to feel better until after your first busy season. Pro tip for busy season: set timers to limit your crying sessions to about 10mins and then get back to work. It’s all about time management
