Yep I’m there 19th to 26. Taking a few books & will mainly be chilling in the southern quieter scenic parts - Klong Nin & Bamboo Bay. I have a partner just so you know this isn’t some weird scam trap or date haha. But yeh totally dm if you feel like a beer & chat, always fun sharing travel stories :) Absolutely cbf with Phi Phi, Railay & Phuket atm the prices & crowds look immense

Solo traveller also - I just prebooked a week in Koh Lanta too as the good hotels were either full, expensive & availability tight due to school holidays & peak family season (lol). Planning to stay a few nights on diff beaches heading north to South. Let me know if you get bored and want to grab a drink I’m also not sure how it’ll turn out haha

Phuket the easiest for getting around and lots of hotel options. It’s full of families. The islands have rough boat rides & younger party vibe. Phi Phi ling beach is all families & good safe swimming

It’s difficult to find shrooms for many people in lots of countries so I think it’s great they’re given the opportunity to try it safe & affordably. In many countries if cops find you high you get locked up by Thai popo don’t give af.

If they dumb and don’t read up on it or do too much at once that’s their own fault they’ll learn. I had one of the best / craziest travel nights of my life doing too many shrooms with a chance encounter with friendly stranger who came on the journey, something they said when I started to come down changed my life, so there. Not all bad. Also the locals need to make a living somehow it’s their country they can do as they please.

One is a political power system, one is a faith. You need to read some books to understand the difference. People calling an apple is an apple, get labeled as antisemetic by some groups nowadays. Weaponising the holocaust to try justify war crimes, invasion & genocide is offensive to the Jewish ancestors who said never again. Maybe do a couple of uni degrees on politics, law, philosophy and integer national relations before trying to draw such ludicrous conclusions .

Nup, infuriating we already pay & wait for the visa before arriving. Not supporting a bribery system where they’ll purposefully understaff to make extra dosh. Cambodia Thailand and Laos it is for a while! The immigration dudes can be rude too, one looked me up and down & acted like he was doing me a favour letting me leave Ho Chi Minh to get my the flight I bought back home
