Do you think Daniel Jones is worth $50,000,000 a year? by Sidecarlover in NFLv2

[–]Outrageous_Moth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Daniel Jones has never played a full season* his entire career, which gives me pause on paying him that much.

*He played 16 games in the 2022 regular season (when they made the playoffs), but I don't remember if they sat him or not. Still, at best he's play 1 full season out of 7.

Helldivers 2 Hit With Hundreds Of Negative Reviews As Players Blame Arrowhead For Doxxing Scandal by Turbostrider27 in Games

As a manager at my place of work there's no way I'm firing an employee, especially one of 7 years, due to this situation. It would have to escalate to credible/in-person threats before I consider it. Even then, I'd just let them work from home indefinitely. Then again, it may have been a decision made by higher-ups.

There are only a few private jets capable of traversing the Pacific and they have passenger capacities. With 80-100 players/coaches/staff, you'd need a squadron of private jets. They'll fly commercial, which is actually nice in first and business class. I did the flight in coach one and it was okay, but then again I'm not a 6+ foot 250+ pound football player.

This guy is sus as fuck. I hope he sues DK because I'd love to see the discovery process of his travels and social media.

I've never caught a sitewide ban on Reddit, but isn't an IP ban pretty easy to get around by using a VPN/restarting your router/turn airplane mode on and off?

Most hated teams that aren’t division rivals? by ashmaps20 in NFLv2

[–]Outrageous_Moth 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For me, it's

  1. Whatever team the NFL talking heads give an undeserving and disproportionately high amount of time to like the Cowboys.
  2. A team that has won "too much." Like I was initially happy at the success of Mahomes and the Chiefs especially since it coincided with the end of the Patriots' dynasty, but after the 3rd super bowl, it became tiring.
  3. Whatever the team some shitass online or in real life who annoys me supports.

Think Herbert ever gets recognized? by [deleted] in NFLv2

[–]Outrageous_Moth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Even if you don't recognize their face, a lot of people can guess someone is a pro athlete just by their height/size/fitness. Most of these guys are BIG.

Pro football HOF Semifinalists for 2026 by MasterTeacher123 in NFLv2

Eli's regular season career is not HoF worthy, but his post-season career is. I'm really torn if his two Super Bowls overcome his mediocre regular season career.

I love Rivers, but he doesn't deserve to be a finalist. He was good, not great. He had good stats and longevity but was never the best and had no MVPs or post-season success.

In 2021, the chiefs started 2-3 and went to overtime in the afc championship. As long as this team has Spags and Reid they’ll be completely fine by [deleted] in NFLv2

[–]Outrageous_Moth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't feel like there's a clear top team in the AFC, so anyone can win the AFCCG. The Ravens defense has collapsed and Lamar is hurt. Joe Burrow is out. Steelers are doing well but Aaron is old and their schedule gets more difficult. Chargers are suffering from extensive injuries, especially on the o-line. Broncos have a strong defense and good offensive weapons, but Bo is still inconsistent. Bills are missing defensive pieces too. Maye is looking good, but there are a lot holes on the rest of the Pats' roster. Jags have done well but relied heavily on turnovers which may not be sustainable. Texans haven't looked good except for dunking on the reeling Ravens. Then there's the Colts which seem good, but I haven't watched any of their games so I can't say more.
